With over 35 years of experience in care sector catering, I have progressed from a kitchen assistant to my current role as Kitchen Manager. I joined Pendle Brook in 2019 and take great pride in delivering high-quality, freshly prepared meals tailored to the individual needs of our residents. I have extensive knowledge of special diets and allergens, and I am committed to maintaining the highest standards in food safety and nutrition. I am a seasoned Internal Quality Assurer, Assessor, and Training Manager ,Trainer and Coach with extensive experience in the higher education sector and across the health and social care industry. My career spans over 34 years with 13 years spent in key roles in Domiciliary Care, Residential Dementia Care Homes, and Training Management. Also delivering Apprenticeships with FE colleges. I aim to demonstrate commitment to excellence in care and education. I embed the values of high-quality care into the education of the team and to ensure person centred care and compassion, caring and kindness are core values. I started in care when I was 19 and very quickly realised the value of care and I wanted to ensure that the people I supported received he best care possible.
