Royley House provides a level of care beyond our expectations. All the staff are excellent. They are approachable and empathetic, whilst remaining professional. Nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is calm and happy and the home is spotless in terms of cleanliness. We are so pleased we chose

I cannot be more pleased with the service Royley House provide for my father. They are amazing. They spend time getting to know him and care to all of his needs and requirements. He has only been there for four months, but what a difference they have made.
Brilliant.

My mum became a resident here after her stroke which she really struggled with as she was in her previous home for 30years and highly independent, so it was a big transition for her. But the staff were friendly and welcoming and looked after her every need with care and compassion and always made her
laugh and she made new friends. Then my dad moved in also so they could be together and he would be safe and looked after with his dementia .
It became a much better home under the new management , There was new staff to manage the activities , which has vastly improved and take residents for days out , which my dad really enjoys . Food has improved . Social media was added to keep famillies updated for when they are unable to visit. On the whole a great home for the residents. The staff are profesional , friendly , caring , compassionate , and there is not a high turn over of staff as with most other care homes. I highly reccommend Royley House

Royley House is an example of what high standards need to be met whenlooking after loved ones who are vulnerable.
From the manager to the staff all are very focused on the residents wellbeing.
My mother has been looked after from day one and they let me know immediately if there are any problems or
if she is doing something interesting which really makes me not worry.
Well done and keep up the brilliant work.

Our mum lives in Royley House and has done for 2 1/2 years. We are very happy with the care she receives. Resident are given a choice for meals which is good that they czn make their own choices. The staff are very caring and look like they enjoy working at Royley. The activities they get the residents
involved in are second to none. The activities co-ordinator encourages the residents to get involved if they want to.
Residents files are always kept up to date with daily care notes. We are encouraged to speak to the manager if we have concerns. Each month we get a call when mum is person of the day with an update on mum and we can speak about mums care.
Overall we a very satisfied that mum is in safe hands at Royley.

Royle House Care Home what can I say other than 10/10
Staff are brilliant so kind and helpful my mother in law has been there now almost 12 months and what an improvement. She has settled in so well with the help from the staff. She really enjoys the food always plenty of choice and she looks so well
now. James who does the activities does a fantastic job and my mother in law enjoys the trip out. Her room is a good size and has been decorated to a high standard and is kept clean and tidy. Thanks for doing a great job everyone

My mother has lived at Coniston House Care Home for over 10 years. During this time her dementia has deteriorated and throughout this time I have always been impressed with the caring nature of all the staff.
Adjustments have been put in place to cater for her increasing needs. We can visit any time
and are always made to feel welcome. Unfortunately my mother is unable to participate in the activities but there is always a lot going on around her.

My mother-in-law has been living in Coniston for just over a month now and has settled in very quickly. From the initial viewing, to moving in and subsequent visits, I've always found the staff to be attentive, caring and helpful and the environment to be clean, tidy and well maintained. There's plenty
of interesting activities to keep her stimulated and busy. It's refreshing to say that the experience overall at Coniston has impressed me immensely, which I find difficult to say about many other things in life currently. The excellent service provided is also a great comfort for my wife, knowing that her Mum is cared for, safe and active.

Royley House provided my dad with compassionate, dignified care during the later stages of his dementia, where he lived for just over three years. During that time, the staff came to know him very well as an individual, understood his needs, and consistently did their very best for him with patience,
kindness and respect. It was clear he was genuinely cared for, not just looked after.
Since the change in leadership, the quality of care at Royley House has improved significantly and is now, in my opinion, outstanding. I am truly grateful to the whole team for the care, kindness and support they showed both my dad and our family. The home feels well-led, professional and warm, and this gave us great reassurance during a very difficult time. I would highly recommend Royley House to anyone seeking a caring, supportive and well-managed environment for their loved one.
