My dad has just had a week in respite at Bank Hall. As a family it was a very worrying time for us as we felt like we were abandoning him. Leah and the staff team totally put our minds at rest and couldn't do enough for my dad. Leah sent me updates via email which was a great comfort. My dad had an
amazing time and made some new friends and my mum has recharged her batteries. We will definitely be revisiting in the near future.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts x

Our mum, who has Alzheimer's, has been living at Coniston for 15 months now. We looked at several care homes before choosing this one and are so pleased with our choice. The staff are approachable, caring and friendly and the home is well managed. It is also very clean. The food always looks and
smells amazing and despite many years of being a fussy eater Mum has put some weight on and looks so much healthier. She has also joined in with some of the activities, which we hadn't expected to happen. There are lots of events for residents and their families which are always joyful occasions. We can relax safe in the knowledge that Mum is being cared for with compassion and understanding.

A perfect home for mum, she is very well looked after, staff are all very helpful and professional but with warmth.
The home has so much going on which stimulates the residents. In house activities and outdoor trips.
Staff are very attentive and caring, always happy to help with any questions or
requests.
I do feel I could not have chose a better home for my mum.

Our Mum has been in Coniston House for a number of years now and the demands to look after her have unfortunately increased as her general health has deteriorated. However the team at Coniston have always been so supportive in looking after Mum in terms of her physical and mental well being. As issues
have inevitably arisen they have proactively responded and handled medical intervention and support to Mum whilst always keeping us informed on the status until the matter has been resolved. Also I really cannot commend the motivation and work ethic of the staff highly enough and the exemplary service they continue to provide to all residents, organising regular activities and events which benefits both residents and relatives alike.
Overall Coniston and the team are fully deserving of any plaudits they receive and in my opinion more than justify a 5 star rating!

Up to now I am very pleased with the way my husband has settled in at Coniston house , he appears to have a good relationship with the staff and they are kind and attentive, he is for the most part well dressed . I am confident that any medical issues will be addressed straightaway. He enjoys the food

What an amazing group of kind, caring and compassionate individuals the team at Coniston House are, the home is spotless, the residents are always up, clean, and everyone works hard together to ensure they are well supported and there is always lots going on. My mum has been living here for 2 years
now, and as her condition has deteriorated the team continue to actively involve her in and I know have her best interests at heart, they cannot do enough for the residents and it is lovely to see and very reassuring. Like most I was nervous when my mum first had to go into the home, but I needn't have worried the staff at Coniston House have all been amazing and I have total peace of mind that she is well looked after, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Coniston House if you are looking for a kind, caring ,compassionate and stable environment for your loved ones to live in.

I generally pleased with Coniston House and the care given to my husband. I have concerns about the number of expensive items that have been 'lost' or put in the washer. I know he can fiddle with things but it isn't hard to check bedding and clothing before it goes in the washer?. I have not been offered
any recompense for the items.
Sometimes carers are on their phones instead of interacting with the patients. Why do 2 carers go at once for lunch, leaving 1 carer only in the lounge upstairs?
When a resident requests assistance I think carers should not say' I'll take him/her when I've finished this' but be given priority.

My father and my mother-in-law are both in Bank Hall Care Home.
I have felt for a while i needed to write a review that would reflect the amazing care and dedicated staff that work there.
Nothing is to much trouble and if the staff can help with anything then they most certainly will.
I have had
meals with my family and they were always good quality, music playing and a lovely atmosphere.
Thank you for all you do for both my dad and mum in law.
I know they are being cared for in one of the best homes I have been in (I searched alot of homes to find the right place)
Thank you so much.

My gran received exceptional care during her time at Pendle Brook. The staff were consistently kind, patient, and attentive, treating her with genuine respect and compassion. The home had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and we always felt reassured knowing she was in safe hands. Communication with the
family was excellent, and we were kept informed and involved every step of the way. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and there was always a range of activities to keep residents engaged. We are so grateful for the love and support the team showed my gran, they were more like family than staff.
