Trinity Manor is a welcoming home and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. The home is always busy with activities happening and lots of residents getting involved and having a nice time, there is always refreshments available and the cake is always delicious!

Best decision to check in here that I have made in years. I should have come here a long time ago. My daughter and I looked at a number of care homes but we came away from all of them where she said "that is not for you Dad". Then she phoned me to say she had found a place I would like, and she was coming to pick me up and she brought me here. I immediately had a good feeling when I stepped into reception and was greeted by a cheerful face. I then had a few questions to answer followed by a guided tour of Trinity Manor. Having made a number of six star cruises with my late wife, I likened the accommodation and facilities to that experience. My daughter said it was the right place for me and I agreed. I have been here almost 6 months, and every minute has been very much appreciative of the wonderful staff who have made my life so easy. They can't do anything about my condition, but they have certainly made things as good as is possible. I recommend this place to everyone.

Sadly, Mum died in May; we were relieved that she was able to die peacefully and comfortably there. My only regret is that Mum didn't move in earlier. Trinity Manor gave Mum quality of life - and us assurance.

Every aspect of the home was outstanding: excellent cleanliness and tight maintenance, top notch restaurants and high quality food, superb resident and family management by the senior management and reception teams. As a Registered General Nurse, I have worked within the private care home sector ever since 2009, where I have been able to learn, develop and share my skill set in order to benefit the residents I look after.
During my time working within the dementia sector, I was able to access specialist knowledge on how to encourage and enhance the lives of the individuals within my care in order to facilitate living life to the fullest in the most independent and dignified way possible.
Finding ways to adapt and overcome situations, so that residents can still really enjoy all the things they love, has always been a great passion of mine; showcasing that you really can live well with dementia.
Supporting the families of those in our care is also something that I feel very strongly about, and from the time of enquiry, through to moving in and beyond, I aim to support the families as much as the residents themselves. This can often be a huge change as their loved one adapts to new surroundings, but I am well aware of how important reassurance and constant communication are for all involved. This is something that the Trinity Manor family are very good at as a whole, and I am so lucky that I get to share all my knowledge and work with such a fantastic team.

Paul has supported people who are living with physical and neurological conditions, including dementia, constantly striving to ensure that everyone can live their lives to the very best of their ability. Paul has always had a passion for person-centred care, looking at each individual as a person and not a number! His time at the Royal Crescent in Bath fortified a love for the pastry section which Liam is able to demonstrate in his home-baked treats in the café.

Dale joins the Trinity Manor family with a wealth of experience to draw from over 38 years within various avenues of horticulture. Dale previously worked for South Somerset District Council, working on the green areas in Yeovil in the neighbouring county of Somerset.
Dale has been a part of teams that have won Yeovil in Bloom with their displays of green areas around the town. He has also been a part of winning several Gold and Silver Guilts in the same team. Dale loves to be a part of the home and is always willing to offer his advice to our residents and staff alike about their own ‘green’ projects.

Since then, she has become chairwoman of our residents' committee, a great person for other residents in the home to bring feedback and suggestions to regarding the living experience here.
Dr Valerie Marett has a background in the care setting as a specialist inspector for the Care Quality Commission. In her role as ambassador, Valerie will have input into the home newsletter, be involved with the interview process, be introduced to any prospective residents & relatives who may wish to ask what life is like at Trinity Manor and attend local community events and forums on behalf of the residents in the home.
