In 2002, Kevin graduated from the University of Stirling as a Mental Health Nurse. Since qualifying, driven by a passion for caring for the elderly, particularly those living with dementia, Kevin has dedicated his career to working in care homes, leveraging his knowledge and experience to hold various roles, including Charge Nurse and Deputy Manager.

Kevin joined the Northcare team in January 2018 as a Clinical Lead and progressed into the role of Deputy Manager at Northcare Suites in April 2023. Since stepping into this position, Kevin has continued to develop his skills and knowledge, with a strong focus on supporting the team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. In recognition of his commitment and leadership, Kevin was promoted to Home Manager in February 2026.

Kirsty is a dedicated sales professional and front-of-house manager with extensive experience in the care home industry. Working internationally and having lived and worked in Edinburgh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and London, she then took up the position as front of house manager for Northcare in January 2025. With a strong background in customer service, business development, and resident relations, Kirsty excels at creating welcoming environments while driving occupancy growth within the home.

As a front-of-house manager, Kirsty is the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional experience from the moment they step into the care home. Her expertise in handling enquiries, coordinating tours, and managing administrative tasks helps streamline operations and maintain a high standard of service.

Passionate about senior living and customer satisfaction, Kirsty is committed to fostering a positive atmosphere where residents feel at home, families feel reassured, and the business continues to thrive.

With over a decade of experience in acute hospital settings, including 10 years as a scrub nurse in theatre at the Royal Infirmary Hospital and 2 years in Cardiac ITU, Kathy brings extensive clinical expertise to her role as Clinical Lead with Northcare.

Since joining the team in March 2023, She has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, Compassionate care, With a particular passion for supporting elderly residents and enhancing their quality of life.

Having lived in Edinburgh for 21 years, Kathy enjoys spending her free time outdoors and cherishes the company of her dogs. Her commitment, warmth, and depth of clinical knowledge make her a valued leader within the home at Northcare Suites.

Kasia is an experienced and dedicated Unit Manager at Northcare Suites Care Home.
Bringing compassion, leadership, and a strong commitment to high-quality care. With years of experience in elderly care and clinical practice, Kasia leads the unit with a focus on dignity, safety, and person-centred support.

A registered Health & Social Care Professional, Kasia specialises in coordinating care for residents with complex needs, supporting families, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. She is known for fostering a positive team culture where staff feel supported, empowered, and motivated to deliver exceptional care.

Driven by a genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults, Kasia works closely with residents, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to create a warm, inclusive, and homely environment. Charlene Started working as a Care Assistant in Northcare Suites in 2019. She progressed to senior care assistant in 2021 and has since been promoted to Unit Manager at Northcare Suites in March 2023.

As the Unit Manager, Charlene brings over 10 years of experience in health and social care and oversees the daily operations of the unit, ensuring that our residents receive compassionate, person-centered care in a safe and nurturing environment. "I feel my job is so rewarding as I am able to provide a high level of care to each resident and support them on a daily basis. I love making a difference in people’s lives and making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to be for both the residents and my staff team.’’

She is committed to promoting dignity, independence, and safety, while maintaining excellent communication with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.

With over 20 years of experience working as a Chef in a care home setting, Grzegorz brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to every meal prepared.

Highly experienced in creating nutritious, well-balanced menus, Grzegorz take's pride in catering for individual dietary requirements, including special diets, allergies, and specific medical needs.

Committed to maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, He is passionate about providing comforting, enjoyable meals that not only nourish residents but also support their overall health and wellbeing.

As Head of Hospitality at Northcare Suites, Andras oversees a dedicated team of 7 Hospitality Assistants, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and beverage service to clients. Andras has been instrumental in training staff and maintaining the highest standards in hospitality.

Before his tenure at Northcare, Andras honed his skills over seven years at Edinburgh’s prestigious five-star Balmoral Hotel. His roles included Chef de Rang in the hotel’s meeting and events team and at the acclaimed Number One Restaurant, which holds 4 AA Rosettes.

Andras brings extensive expertise in planning and executing events of all sizes, complemented by his proficiency in bar management, cocktail creation, and an excellent knowledge of wines and spirits. His commitment to excellence and attention to detail make him a vital asset to the Northcare team.

Susan is an experienced and committed Head of Housekeeping at Northcare Suites Care Home.
Specialising in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection control, and environmental safety within residential care settings. With over 5 years of experience in housekeeping leadership, Susan expertly manages daily operations, staff training, audits, and compliance with CQC and public-health guidelines.

Passionate about enhancing the well-being of older adults, Susan prioritises dignity, comfort, and personalised care. She works with nursing and care teams to ensure the home remains a warm, safe, and supportive environment for every resident.

Known for a hands-on leadership style, attention to detail, and a caring nature, Susan continually drives improvements in cleanliness, infection prevention, and service quality—helping create a home where residents feel respected, comfortable, and truly cared for.

With over 25 years of experience in hairdressing and a passion for working with senior clients, Amanda brings exceptional skills and a compassionate touch to every appointment.

At just 16, Amanda began her career with Kenneth Kim in the Edinburgh Salon, where she completed her junior training and earned her SVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing. She then joined the prestigious global hairdressing brand, Regis, steadily advancing from Stylist to Salon Area Manager.

Throughout her career, Amanda has undertaken some of the industry's most esteemed educational programmes, including the highly regarded Wella Professionals Master Colour Expert Programme, one of the top accolades in the field of hair colour.
