Very happy to give a positive review of Northcare. All staff are caring, friendly and helpful. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the rooms are modern and fresh. There is plenty of choice at mealtimes and different activities throughout the day. The brasserie on the top floor serving tea and coffee to visitors is a lovely touch, it makes me feel very welcome. Northcare is really lovely, and my dad is happy here. I'm so glad we found it.
Thank you very much for your glowing review of Northcare. We are delighted to hear that you and your dad are happy with our care and facilities. Our team takes great pride in creating a welcoming, clean, and vibrant environment for our residents and their families, so your kind words mean a lot to...
Can't say enough good things about this care home. Staff all brilliant and friendly. Mum (Alzheimer's) has been in nearly 3 months now and she is happy and contented. Well looked after. Family are all very happy with the way things are going.
Thank you very much for your feedback. It means a great deal to us to know that your mum feels happy, contented, and well cared for in our home. Our team works hard to provide compassionate and personalised care, and your kind words motivate us to keep doing our best every day. If there's ever...
My mother has been a resident for around 6 months. From the very start it was clear the whole team actually care for their residents with great empathy. My mother settled in well and is happy in the home. No issues of any concern at all.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. We are truly delighted to hear that you have had a positive experience with our care home. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every resident feels comfortable, safe, and cared for, and your kind words reaffirm that we are...
Welcoming and friendly staff who are always cheerful to welcome Mum every day. Encouraging and caring with bags of patience, the carers allow Mum to feel safe and as an individual in her own right. Could not fault the care and standards.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are thrilled to hear that your mum feels safe, valued, and well cared for by our team. Creating a welcoming and supportive environment is our top priority, and it's heartening to know that our efforts are making a positive difference in your mum's...
All of her personal care/medical needs are attended to very well. She has a daily assisted shower and the nursing team keep me updated on any issues as they arise, or changes in her medication.
There is a programme of daily activities and lunch/dinner in the dining room which allows residents to socialise and mix with one another which suits mum as she gets anxious when she is on her own. Mum particularly enjoys the musical entertainment which is provided as she loves a sing along.
Mum has a big family and lots of friends who come to visit her regularly and are also made to feel welcome.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Northcare Suites to others looking for a care facility for their loved ones.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and positive feedback. We are truly delighted to hear that your Mum is happy and well-cared for at Northcare Suites. Our team is dedicated to creating a warm and engaging environment, and it's wonderful to know that this is reflected in your Mum's experience....
This is a 5-star care home. Management continuity has been good, staff continuity is good although at times they appear to be short-staffed. Quality of care is good and facilities are excellent. Individual rooms are spacious, light and comfortable. There is a full programme of activities and an excellent onsite cafe for visitors to take residents to.
Thank you for your feedback and for rating us as a 5-star care home. We're glad to hear that you're pleased with the quality of care, the facilities, and the comfort of the individual rooms. It's great to know that the activities and Bistro are providing enjoyable experiences for both residents and...
Northcare Suites, Edinburgh is simply wonderful. The ambience is lovely from the minute you walk through the door. Staff are knowledgeable, respectful and so kind. My mother's room has amazing views over the city and is kept clean and tidy. I'm kept updated about her health and have regular six monthly reviews. Catering is fabulous and they really look after their visitors too with the Brasserie on the top floor being a favourite place to visit with Mum. There are plenty of activities should clients wish to participate and so in short, I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
Thank you so much for your glowing review of Northcare Suites. We are delighted to hear that you and your mother are enjoying the ambience, care, and amenities we strive to provide. It's wonderful that your mother's room with its stunning views, along with our activities and dining options, have...
Only been in since January to date so early but it's good. Low turnover of staff is also good, facilities are great. Cafe is an excellent idea, service and offering and open pretty much all the time which is great. Good it offers facilities such as cinema, nails, hair etc.

We're especially pleased that you're enjoying the Bistro and the convenience it provides. Offering...
My father was placed in Northcare as he was bedblocking in ERI. Due to his needs it was very evident that Social Care was unable to meet them. After long discussions he made the decision to see if he could remain in Northcare, which he did. The care and attention he received and myself until his death last year was exceptional, could not have asked for any more. As I was so impressed I moved my mother from her care home to currently is. The attention to detail is throughout the staff. This is starting with the Manager. The training given and recieved is exceptional. The choice, respect and dignity shown and given is perfect. The GPs, nurses call and give updates if there has been any or no change and are very receptive to suggestions in how to treat a longstanding condition. I am looking forward to my old age as I will be putting my name down on the waiting list along with my cousins.
Thank you so much for sharing your heartfelt experience with us. We are deeply honoured that you chose Northcare for both your father and now your mother, and we are grateful for your trust in our care. It means a lot to hear that the attention to detail, respect, and dignity provided by our staff...
The care given to my stepmother is first class and I am always told when there has been a deterioration in her health. The staff and management act quickly when they think external medical advice is required.
Thank you for your kind words. We're pleased to hear that your stepmother received first-class care and that our communication kept you well-informed about her health. Our team is committed to responding quickly and effectively when medical advice is needed, and it's great to know that this provided you with peace of mind.
My mum enjoyed her respite immensely. The staff were very attentive and treated her very well. She enjoyed her meals. Also, nothing was too much trouble with any help she needed. She felt well cared for.
Thank you for sharing your mum's positive experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that she enjoyed her respite stay and felt well cared for. It's wonderful to know that our attentive staff and meals added to her comfort. We're always here to help in any way we can, and it's rewarding to hear...
Fantastic care home. All staff are excellent, caring and very professional. I could not hope for better care than my mother receives from everyone. All residents are given 100% care and attention and there are lots of activities daily to keep them stimulated and happy. The care home in my opinion is like a 5 star hotel with the best team.
Throughout my mum's stay at Northcare Suites over the years, I have found the staff consistently kind, caring, friendly, patient, helpful and professional and feel that Mum is being well looked after.
Accurate records are always on hand and the family is always kept informed immediately of any changes, medical issues etc.
My mother enjoys the food and when we visit we are also looked after very well with coffee and cakes. The facilities are lovely. My mother's room is always clean and has a hairdresser, cinema, and lovely meeting rooms.
I would recommend Northcare Suites to anyone looking for a luxurious care home.
Northcare Suites on Telford Road; what an absolutely amazing care home. From the minute I arrive at reception, I am greeted with warmth and respect. Care staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. They show care, kindness and extensive knowledge about my aunt and her needs. My aunt is extremely well cared for, any health issues she has are treated timely and with dignity. I am always kept updated about her needs and how they are being met. I have experienced first-hand the care and support experienced by my aunt, she had an infection and was being closely monitored by nursing staff. My aunt and I felt completely reassured and supported. My aunt consistently praises the care she receives and is the happiest and healthiest I have seen her for years. Cleanliness is outstanding throughout the whole of the care home. The catering is fabulous and my aunt enjoys all her meals. The whole team from reception to kitchen, cleaning, care and nursing staff are exceptional. Thank you.
Northcare is a fantastic environment for those suffering from dementia, with staff that know their residents thoroughly and provide activities supporting their residents, including a cinema and external trips out. As a main contact, the staff also keep me well informed of any events related to my father. All staff make a point of knowing and welcoming me when I visit.
My wife has been in care with dementia for three and a half years, and the care and treatment of my wife has been first-class since she was admitted. I like the fact that the lead nurses have been there all the time. There are a lot of activities to keep patients alert and always informed immediately if my wife has any health problems.
We really appreciate the care and attention you give our dad. We know he is in safe hands and is treated very much as an individual and given respect. Thank you for consistently keeping us up to date and for looking after us too when we visit.
