We are so pleased that you gave us the opportunity to support your cousin in what we know was a difficult decision in coming to terms with long-term care. She has been an absolutely amazing person who is wonderful towards everyone she meets. We are pleased you chose Wilford View to be a part of this stage of your journey and share your feedback. It is very appreciated in helping others make difficult decisions also. Thank you!

Thank you so very much for the wonderful words which meant a great deal to the whole team to hear. Caring for your Mum was our privilege, such an amazing lady who brought so much enjoyment to everyone fortunate enough to meet her. You as a family were incredibly caring and compassionate, both you and Mum made our ‘job’ a pleasure. Your Mum is sadly missed but fondly remembered.

Thank you for your wonderful words. We are extremely happy that your Aunt has settled in so well and has shared how much she is enjoying the experience. Feeling safe and cared for are very important things to feel, the value of which cannot be underestimated. It has been our pleasure. Thank you for the wonderful comments!! Your kind words are fantastic to both share with staff and future residents and their loved ones. Feedback from those experiencing a service are invaluable and we really appreciate your views of the home and our amazing team! I can’t wait to share your thoughts in our next team meeting!
Thank you for the lovely review! Our team have worked very hard to ensure we are very well staffed with our own permanent team after what has been a challenging couple of years for recruitment in the healthcare sector overall.
We have also created a wonderful Well Being Team to increase the variety and frequency of activities within the home, a hint of which can be viewed on our social media posts. The whole team adore Mum and feels very privileged to be able to provide care for her. I shall share your feedback with the team during our next team meeting! Thank you!
Thank you for your feedback. I'm disappointed you feel we have not met expectations. Unfortunately, as concerns have not been raised with us directly, we are unable to respond specifically to them. Whilst we are unable to prevent falls due to the nature of those using our service, the home actively take all steps possible to reduce the risks of falls. We have some phenomenal staff working tirelessly to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those in our care. We have above recommended staffing levels based on dependency and a new Wellbeing Team working across 7 days to provide meaningful engagement and occupation. Notice boards around our home show examples of this. Staff use mobile phone devices to complete documentation and there are signs around the home explaining this as we appreciate it could look as though they are using personal phones - ask and they will happily show you. Labelling items helps us reacquaint misplaced possessions. Feedback will be used positively to develop our service.
Thank you for your kind and heartfelt words. Your feedback is so appreciated by the team here at Wilford View Care Home. It was our absolute pleasure supporting your father during his stay and he is hugely missed! Sending our best wishes.
