Overall Experience

Both my Mum and Dad are in Wilford View Care Home and have been since March 2020 at the beginning of lockdown. All the staff here are fantastic, from the carers, cleaners to management. They have kept in touch with us constantly. My parents are very obviously very happy here and therefore so am I. I feel they are safe and very well looked after.

Wilford View is an outstanding Care Home and I could not wish for anything better for my mother.
Every member of staff shows care and kindness and total professionalism and all my mother's needs are met to a very high standard.
Whilst guidelines have to be met during the situation with COVID everything possible is done to minimalise the lack of contact with residents and their loved ones through Skype calls, telephone contact and once a week a visit following social distancing regulations.

I would not hesitate to recommend Wilford View to anyone who has to make the difficult decision to move their parent to a care home. Knowing they are safe and well cared for physically, emotionally and socially means a great deal.

Overall Experience

The home was found purely by chance and has exceeded my expectations. The staff have made my mother very welcome and comforted her when she has moments of distress over her ill husband. They have been very accomodating in organising hospital visits to see him. The procedures in place for her ongoing care seem very thorough. The food is excellent and with a choice of dishes in each course, as well as a varied selection over the course of the week. The care team work well together and my mother is very happy here.

Wilford View staff have been amazing with my mum ensuring she gets the attention she needs when she needs it. The care and support given to residents; is excellent, and I feel at ease leaving Mum in their care. All the staff are friendly and easy to deal with. The premises is five stars, extremely clean and comfortable. The activities my mum has taken part in really make her smile - what more could I want!

Mum has only been in the home for three weeks but so far I have experienced a high standard of care for her. The staff are always willing to help both mum and myself whenever I visit and are always friendly and alert to mums needs.

My mother is a resident at Wilford View and from the moment she arrived, she has been given outstanding care and support. The manager can't do enough for her and the family, she is very supportive. I would highly recommend this home. The standards are very lush and I couldn't ask for anything more.

Review from A E (Nephew of Resident) published on 26 February 2020 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Considering this care home only opened to residents in December 2019, the standard of commitment and care that staff at all levels have provided to my aunt has been exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for them, their sense of humor and friendliness succeeding in settling my aunt into a new situation very quickly. Having to deal with her end of life, as their first resident in that situation, was exemplary. Thank you.
