My mother stayed for a week to see if she liked Barnet Grange: she loved it! She is excited to move in and found the staff and surroundings excellent. She really enjoyed her stay and can't wait to move in.

So much good is ruined by poor food, high in fat and sugar and low in protein. Quality meat only Sundays otherwise cheapest varieties. Dishes served frequently do not resemble the written menu. Last week's Turkey Escalope was 3 small 1/4 in thick sliced chunks of tasteless meat in gravy. Meat Pie was 4 bite-sized chunks of meat, all bulked up with sauces. This problem applies throughout. I, and others, buy food to supplement meals. Luxury living paid for but not delivered. Lunch is better than dinner or high tea.
If catering was the same quality as the building and staff, it would be ideal and value for money.

At present, I am judging as a resident suffering from old age, not just yet an invalid. I would appreciate more feedback results of frequent blood tests if possible.

My grandma seems settled nicely at the care home. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The security is a little worrying.

Mother has settled in very well. She says the staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. There is so much to do there which is exactly what she needed. The entertainment section and staff do a wonderful job that really suits my mum.

She enjoys the food mostly and the 'cafe' is brilliant for when visitors come and sitting room area. It is very clean and always looks wonderful.

My old school teacher and my friend, who suffers from dementia, recently became a resident of the care home; it was a complete shock. I visited Barnet Grange Care Home to see my friend, and all the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
The staff at reception were amazing, and I know how well looked after my friend will be whilst staying there.

I just wanted to add a huge thank you to all the staff for their amazing work so far and in the future but for mainly looking after our old friend.

As we were coming for respite care, we did not know what to expect. We were very pleased with the care that we had! We found the staff very friendly and very helpful. The place had a very good atmosphere; everyone was friendly. The other residents were very friendly too and welcoming. Overall, it was a very good experience for us, and we were sorry to go home! We both felt relaxed and refreshed and will not hesitate to return if needs be. We shall recommend it to friends.

Although not familiar with respite care, my experience here has been a good one. Signature is a clear and highly professionally operated company and ensures its staff are well trained throughout. This is a comfortable and pleasant place to be, from the location to the quality of the whole service provided. Of course, this comes at a cost, but you get what you hope for, and in my case, leave feeling more able to cope with the world outside, as it really is.

The whole team at Signature at Barnet are friendly and approachable. Have made the whole process of my father's move very easy to ensure he was not stressed about the change in his lifestyle. This has given me comfort that he is happy and has taken the day-to-day worries that I had about him trying to care for himself away from me.

Thank you.

Mum was in a bad way physically when she arrived at Signature due to months bedbound in the hospital. She's remarkably improved due to the excellent care she's receiving so that she's now able to move around with some independence under close supervision. Staff, including receptionists, cleaners, etc are welcoming and friendly. Mum is a warm, loving person and appreciates that quality in carers. She will miss the brightest star when she leaves. Mum enjoys the varied activities, and we hope she will enjoy more trips into town. It would help if all activity staff could take into account her site and hearing limitations so she can be seated appropriately to participate when electronic/table games are played.

Not a care home but a five-star hotel with genuinely caring and special staff in an environment second to none. I have been so impressed with the quality of care, immaculate surroundings, delicious food and staff who go the extra mile. My parents have settled well and are very well supported, and I have total peace of mind that their needs are being met. The management team are simply brilliant. Wholeheartedly recommend!

My mother is over 101 years old. She has lived on her own until a few months ago. Moving into a communal home is not easy. We are grateful that the excellent staff and brilliant facilities have enabled the moved to go smoothly. Most importantly my mother is happy and well looked after.

Mostly very good and caring but feel a lack of real nursing care.
Dietary needs (medical) not catered for, nor religious dietary needs.

Would welcome evening activities as long, boring evenings with only cinema arranged. Senior management is very good and caring. Activities manager is great, but little active support from her team which is pathetic. Mostly good, caring staff in all departments.

My parents moved into Signature at Barnet in July 2022. It is difficult to fault the place. The care is second to none. The staff are kind, competent and very friendly. The management is open to suggestions and very responsive. My mother fell and broke her hip in August and was in and out of the hospital for a while. The home facilitated her care in all ways possible. My father died in December. When Mum went back to Signature after staying with us for a while, it was like going home.

Kind, caring staff made me welcome from the start. Room is comfortable and clean. Activities are interesting, and food is varied, with lots of salads and plates of chopped fruit each day. I have made lots of friends with the residents. Would recommend Signature at Barnet. So glad I chose here as I am in respite care and have done really well since being here. I am ready to go home on the 20th of February. Thank you, Signature.

Excellent care and outstanding attention to detail. We have found Signature Barnet Care exemplary for my husband who has comorbidity at an advanced level. It has allowed us to connect with him at the end of his life in the most loving way. What stands out is not only their utmost love for the residents but also the way they support and care for their relatives. I am impressed every time I come to visit my husband.

My mother has now been a resident at Signature at Barnet for four weeks. The care she gets is exceptional. I had my doubts about the cost; however, the Signature is worth every penny. The staff and the manager really care about the residents, with good communication and regular updates. As I and the manager, were about to drive off but stopped, came and gave me an update, and we talked about her care plan for 20 minutes; he went well above the call of duty.

The staff, the team of carers and the nurses are very compassionate and go beyond themselves to understand my mother's needs to make her feel secure and happy. I cannot praise Signature at Barnet enough for all the love they have given my mum. Our family made the best decision to put our Mum here.
