I can't commend Nightingale Court Care Home highly enough. My husband was a resident for only 5 1/2 months before he died, but I couldn't have wished for a better home for him. The care for and needs of each resident drive their rationale. Every member of the team, not just the carers were caring, kind, thoughtful and compassionate and helped to smooth the journey, which at times was overwhelming. Throughout his stay, my husband was treated with dignity, gentleness and understanding, and I was supported in so many ways. Thank you, Nightingale.

The moment I walked into the home, I felt like it was a family home. The owner and manager were true to their word on how they look after their "family".
All staff are very attentive to my father, even though he can be very difficult. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, and all of them talk to you as soon as you see them.

There is a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

My mother moved in in July. Right from the start everyone has gone over and beyond to help her settle. Mum has had to return to hospital and has received visits from the doctor and district nurses. Each time, staff have been efficient, decisive and communicated well with the family. I'm so pleased we chose Nightingale Court. It has made the transition from independence to 24 hour care so much easier than expected. Everyone is lovely and smiley and the food is great.

I am so pleased my Mother benefitted from the high level of care and attention provided by Nightingale Care Home. I reviewed and visited several homes before choosing Nightingale because it stood alone at top of the tree. Having now had the experience of witnessing the exceptional care offered to my mother i know i made the right choice. Nothing is too much trouble and staff spend much time making sure patients are made to feel valued and not neglected in any way. Individual needs are assessed with a personal touch and all staff well informed to cater for her needs. A high level quality entertainment package is managed to perfection and all residents benefit from this as often or as little often as they like. Freshly cooked food in their own kitchen is also a huge benefit that family can enjoy with residents.

I cannot thank the Management and Staff enough for demonstrating how a total care package can be run and satisfy my mothers every need.

Mum was brought into the home last April after experiencing a life changing stroke that accelerated her dementia. Since day one the staff at Nightingale Court have been marvelous; professional, friendly and caring. Nightingale Court is wonderful, mum is safe, well looked after and as happy as she can be. I thoroughly recommend Nightingale Court to anyone who has the sad task of placing their relative into care.

Our dear Mum spent her last few months at Nightingale Court. We only wish she could have enjoyed it there for longer as it is a lovely place. The staff are not only incredibly professional in the care they give but are unfailingly kind. The home itself is spotlessly clean, warm and beautifully maintained. Family members are welcomed like friends. Meals are home-cooked and delicious. Residents enjoy a range of entertainment and activities and are treated with dignity and respect. We know our Mum was cared for by every member of staff as though she was their own Mum. If you are looking for a care home for your own loved one, you will not find a better care home than Nightingale Court.

My mother has recently passed away after 2 years at Nightingale Court. I really cannot express in words just how very compassionate and attentive they were during mum's final hours, which my wife and I were able to spend at her bedside. Mum was not terribly impressed when we first took her to the home and was angry that we had deceived her, but as time went on she settled in and soon regarded staff and residents as friends. Nightingale Court is so much more than just another care home; it provides a family not only for residents, but also for their friends and families who come to visit. I remain enormously grateful to them for taking such great care of mum. Bless you.

Lola TorzsaJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2022

I started working for the company around a year ago, initially joining as Head of Care. From here, I have grown and progressed within the Home, working my way swiftly to the position of Deputy Manager, before, more recently, being promoted to Home Manager.

I have worked in the Care sector for around 9 years now, starting my career as an agency carer, motivated by a personal circumstance that helped me realise my passion.

I enjoy caring for the elderly, especially those living with Dementia, as I feel strongly that no one's quality of life should be compromised based on their cognition.

I aim to make sure that everyone who resides with us is provided with the highest level of care and feels safe in their environment.

I am proud of Nightingale Court and the team who work here, who are all striving towards a shared goal of respecting the wishes and preferences of our residents.
