It was a positive experience from the start. I was able to book the respite for my father and was shown around and my father later. Everyone was very helpful and I was very relaxed about all the arrangements. My father stayed for two weeks and felt he was at a hotel, where he could have his feet checked and a good haircut. He felt very welcome & a positive experience. The staff he said were exemplary.

My mother has been at the home in Falmouth since September 2025. I can honestly say that the team there are exceptional. From the initial stages of respite care to moving to resident the office team were so understanding and helpful.

Since mum has been there she has been really well looked after. Her room, dining and social areas are all new (feels like staying in a hotel). The care team are fun, caring and understand my mum's needs. There are a whole range of social activities to take advantage of and my mother says the food is excellent! I would highly recommend

After just a couple of weeks at Falmouth Court, we have seen a huge change in mum, she is happy, relaxed and now confident enough to join in with some of the varied activities they provide. It was the best decision we have made, mum feels as if she is staying in a hotel and is on holiday in Falmouth! All the staff including admin, are so caring and definitely have mum's best interest at heart, nothing is too much for them.

Mum told us how she enjoyed the V.E. Day celebrations in the sunshine with party hats and cake. She hopes you will do the same for VJ day. The fact that she took part in the celebrations and told us about it is fantastic. We are so pleased at the excellent care you are giving her so she can at last enjoy herself and we are happy she is somewhere safe where she is so well looked after.

Choosing somewhere for the first time for respite for my husband was made easier due to recommendations from friends who had first hand experience of Falmouth Court.

Having picked up my husband today after his two week stay, Falmouth Court lived up to its reputation. The room and en-suite, outlook onto the garden were airy, spacious, light and felt more like a nice hotel. The staff exceeded expectations and my husband enjoyed his stay.

My father suffers from dementia, and moved into Falmouth Court Care Home three months ago when my step-mother could no longer care for him at home. My sister and I both live hundreds of miles away, so it was essential that we found somewhere that we were 100% confident would look after him well. Every single member of staff is incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. They have all made an effort to get to know not just Dad, but also me, my sister and step-mother. They are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The home is stunning and always spotlessly clean. The food is great and there is always some form of entertainment for the residents. Dad thinks he is staying in a luxury hotel and has settled well. The staff really do care for their residents. I'd highly recommend it!

Every member of staff have been so engaging and in a most natural way. They are caring, respectful, fun and always attentive to needs without being intrusive.
There's a relaxed atmosphere the staff create to make a genuinely warm comfortable and safe place for everyone.
A variety of activities are laid on with something to suit everyone. Staff are also creative in ideas to enrich residents time . They take the time to get to know who you are and what makes you happy.
As for cleanliness, everywhere is spotlessly clean all of the time.
I am so grateful to you all for the wonderful support and care and kindness. I can't
recommend you enough.

I consider my room and my ensuite as my home, where I can get help when needed, whilst retaining some form of independence, within safety boundaries. Many opportunities are provided for developing or learning new talents and socialising. There is a delightful area in reception where free drinks and cakes are available for relaxing with friends and family. As in most homes, there is always somewhere to be improved. In my case, my wardrobe is very difficult for me to access as it's built on a slant! Generally, I shouldn't want to move from my home.

My Dad has had several respite stays at Falmouth Court over the last four years. At the end of his most recent visit he made the big decision to ask if he could make his stay permanent. I'm not sure there could be a better recommendation! He jokes that it is like a 5 star hotel. The environment is beautiful but it's the people that make it a lovely place to live and to visit. Every single person I have come into contact with at FC is wonderful. From the administration and reception team, to the housekeepers, the maintenance team, the chefs and of course the carers there is always a friendly welcome, nothing is too much trouble and there is a real sense that everyone knows and cares about Dad's happiness and wellbeing. From Dad's point of view I believe that he is much more relaxed now that there are people around 24/7, but he feels that he can continue to lead a quiet life with the privacy that he needs, with the option to be sociable when he wants to be. Thank you to all at FC x

My Aunt has settled in at Falmouth Court over the last few weeks. She was anxious about finding a nice home and mixing with other people. Walking into Falmouth Court was like walking into a 5 star hotel - beautiful decor & furnishings and exceptionally clean, but also the staff have gone above and beyond to enable my Aunt to firstly come to the home on a respite break (they swiftly organised things so she could come the very next day after we took her to see the home, when they could see she was anxious about having to spend another night on her own in her own house) which then recently rolled into an ongoing residency. The admin manager has been such an incredible help when it came to sorting everything that we needed in place for the permanent residency. I cannot thank the home administrator enough, and the same for the staff generally. My Aunt seems happier & has been enjoying the activities at the home - an absolute joy for myself and our family to see her looking forward to the singers etc.

I visited this care home while on holiday, as my aunty is staying there , and I was genuinely impressed. The moment I walked in, it felt more like a hotel than a care home - everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had a really warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I even had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who made us feel so welcome and kindly offered us hot drinks and delicious cakes. On the way to see my aunty, we passed through a lounge where a singer was performing - the residents were dancing and clearly having a great time. It was so lovely to see!
We later sat in the garden to enjoy our coffee, and it was absolutely beautiful - peaceful, well-maintained.
My aunty couldn't stop talking about how happy she is there and how well she's looked after.

Overall, I left with such peace of mind .This place really goes above and beyond. Well done and thank you

Belinda Wells
Belinda WellsJob Title:Activities LeadJoined: 2023

Hi, I'm Belinda, Activities Lead at Falmouth Court.

My first experience in the care sector was working privately for a local doctor's family member, who needed some support. Later, when my children grew older, I worked in care in the community for a while, which I found very rewarding.

I try to create engaging experiences that spark memories and joy for the residents. Making them smile and encouraging them to continue to live their lives to the fullest, and seeing them continue to enjoy hobbies, or just having a chat with them about their lives, is heart-warming. By working with their families and ask the residents themselves what they would like to help enrich their lives, is my goal.

When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening and walking my dog on the beaches in the winter and in the countryside in the summer.
