My wife's first two weeks in Meryton Place have been a pleasant experience. The home is spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, and the staff are attentive and caring. Food is ample and tasty, and eating in the dining room and attending activities allows for social interaction with other residents, enhancing the overall pleasant ambience of the home.

My 2 weeks of respite care following an operation in RUH achieved exactly what I wanted. When I arrived I could barely stand or walk. When I left I could walk 20/3 towards with a walker. The staff were great, encouraging me to exercise and recover.

We couldn't be happier with the care our mother has received. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and attentive, always going the extra mile to make residents feel comfortable and valued. The meals are absolutely fabulous, and there's always a great range of activities to keep everyone engaged and happy.

What truly stands out is the atmosphere-it genuinely feels like a family home rather than a care facility. Meryton have made what was a very difficult decision for us into such a smooth and reassuring transition. We're so grateful for the support and compassion shown every day.

I found all the staff friendly, and really caring. They were always willing to help and it was most noticeable how well they all got on with each other, The whole complex is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. I was only resident for two weeks because I am a widower and needed temporary care following hospital treatment, When I am unable to look after myself I will apply to reside at Meryton Place,

Mum has been at Meryton Place for about 8 months and during this time they have taken on any feedback and adapted their approach to meet mums needs. She is very happy and settled and everyone goes out of their way to make her stay as nice as possible. Despite some mobility needs they have taken her on trips and visits in her wheelchair which has really helped her confidence. Highly recommended.

My mother moved into Meryton Place in December 2025. After living in the same home for almost 60 years it was a very difficult decision to move into care, but when she visited Meryton she agreed immediately to take a place there. We can honestly say that it is a most welcoming place with great facilities and amazing, caring staff who feel like family. We are always welcome to Meriton and able to spend as much time with Mum as we wish, with the option to join her for the fabulous meals provided. The very well organised activities, which family are also encouraged to join in with, ensure that residents can meet up and form friendships and also enjoy outings with special adapted transport arranged. All of Mums visitors say it is like a five-star, fully inclusive hotel! Thank you Meryton staff, you are wonderful xx

Mum always valued her independence to the point where she was reluctant to consider moving to a care home. However, during a hospital stay in October '25 she came to the conclusion that she was unable to continue managing her own home alone and decided that the time had come to seriously consider the alternative. From the time that she first saw the facilities at Meryton Place, her enthusiasm increased. Within a day or two of moving in (November '25), she was convinced that she had done the right thing. Mum is a very sociable person and has found it very rewarding to join in the activities being offered and also to make new friends among both the residents and staff. From my point of view, the care being provided is beyond reproach with all of the staff taking the "nothing is too much trouble" attitude and also treating my wife and I as members of the Meryton family.

We so appreciate your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We're truly delighted to hear that mum feels reassured having decide to join us. Meryton Place provided Dad with a home from home that has ensured he is both content and at peace. The staff are not just caring but responsive to his ever changing needs. On entering Meryton Care Home, Keynsham all staff I made contact with, either directly or indirectly are very welcoming with smiles and positive body language, breathing an atmosphere of happiness, from the reception staff, homemakers, kitchen staff through to the hierarchy/managers.
On making requests to various staff members of assistance on behalf of our friend that resides here, these were actioned with pace, diligence and without reluctance. All staff continually surpass my expectations and ensure our friend is always comfortable and can comprehend when being spoken too.
The numerous communal rooms are extremely clean and inviting with many activities organised for residents, of which our friend enjoys participating in.

Our friend was reluctant to leave her own home to make the move into a care facility wondering if she would like it. However, due to the welcoming conditions, staff and facilities all under one roof, she does not want to leave, wishing she had moved in sooner !

My partner is having excellent care in every way. He is losing the ability to tie laces, fasten belts etc and staff aid him in dressing etc.The meals here are exceptionally good, as is medical attention, and choice of activities. I found the care excellent, and the staff friendly, helpful and professional in their approach.

There were a few minor confusions at the beginning of the respite stay, due entirely to little errors in communication. It took a short while to discover who to communicate with to ensure that I did not arrange outings or visits for my friend, when the home had planned a particular activity. Everyone was efficient and helpful in sorting out minor muddles.

Mum has been a resident at Meryton Place for about 6 months. Mum has always been independent, so staying in a care home has been very difficult and challenging. However, the friendly team at Meryton Place have been amazing, only helping and assisting Mum when required and maintaining privacy when possible. Mum has even been on a few group trips, thanks to the persistence of staff. A visit to the Bath City Farm was a triumph and put a smile on Mum's face!

I recently had a few questions for the care team, these were answered quickly, comprehensively and to my satisfaction. I have been very happy with the care, support and respect the staff have given Mum. Consequently, Mum has made some very good friends with the staff and residents. Thanks very much for caring for my Mum. Best Wishes

I am the main carer for my Aunty, and unexpectedly I had to find a care home for her in May. This was obviously really upsetting for me, and I was scared about making the right decisions for my Aunty.

Right from the initial phone call the Ambassador was really friendly and reassuring. She understood my concerns and I truely appreciated her support through such a difficult time for me.

The home itself is fantastic. It has everything my Aunty needs and the support is given at the level she wants. It's nice for me to visit the Bistro with her and have a coffee and catch up, without having to worry about anything related to her care.

The whole team are so supportive of us both. They always have a nice chat with me and I feel we are both in their care now. Everybody got to know my Aunty really quickly, and it's nice how they pop in regularly to check if she is ok or if she needs a hot drink or anything. I would 100% recommend Meryton Place, I genuinely can't think of a bad word to say.

Our dad recently moved in to Meryton Place after a stay in hospital and our experience could not have been better. From day 1, the team at Meryton were very professional and incredibly caring. They spent time with us to work through all the details of his admission, coordinated with the hospital, and ensured dad was warmly welcomed in to his new room.
