Cavell Park Care Home

All staff very kind and efficient. Happy to assist. Nice surroundings. Good atmosphere and made me feel very comfortable both physically and in myself.

My 99 year old mother arrived in Feb 2025. From day 1 she felt at home. The staff are exceptional. I cannot be more thankful for whatever you do for my mother. The quality of the home is 5 star in every way.

The care that my mother received has been way above and beyond my expectations. The staff are truly wonderful, compassionate and it can be seen clearly in their eyes how upset they have been at the treatment my mother received in her previous care facility. Virtually starving from lack of help she ate a 3 course meal when she arrived here and enjoyed a bath. She trusted the staff immediately on arrival. I cannot thank the staff enough for their warm welcome and support for both my mother and me.

I find Cavell Park a really good nursing home, the management and staff are all very helpful and caring, although my wife has been there for two months, she is treated like one of the family and is loved by everyone. As I write this, the weather is very hot (33 degrees), and although my wife has a fan supplied by the family, could the rooms not be fitted with fans for such a modern nursing home?

My overall experience was very good, made to feel very comfortable. My only criticism is that the gardens look very tired and need tending to a lot more. The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean.

He would say Cavell has given him a new lease of life.

My two daughters reviewed several care homes to look after me while my house was being repaired. I was most surprised at the total facilities available and I am pleased with with result. I would recommend this company.

Cavell Park Care Home is, without a doubt, the nicest care home I have ever visited. The premises are like a 5-star hotel. The staff (all of them) were absolutely delightful, extremely helpful and always available. I visited with two other friends and we had lunch in the private dining room. Food was absolutely delicious and our waitress charming. I have no hesitation in recommending Cavell Park for all the attributes referred to above!

During my stay at Cavell Park I was treated with respect and kindness and should I need care in the future I would go there again.

My mother was looked after extremely well by the staff. The atmosphere throughout the nursing home was so warm and friendly together with the care given to both residents and guests. The highly recommend Cavell Park and cant thank them enough for the care they gave my mother whilst she was there.

Our experience with Cavell Park Care Home has been excellent overall. Staff members get to know residents and their relatives as individuals. Everyone is treated with respect. The food is excellent. We had a lovely family meal in the private dining room. My father needs lots of encouragement to join in activities but has enjoyed musical performances. He also likes going to the cafe with family members.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team at Cavell Park for the exceptional care they provided to my father during his time there. From the moment he arrived, the staff became an extension of his family, treating him with the utmost dignity and respect. They made him feel valued and cared for in a way that truly touched us. The team also created a joyful, lighthearted atmosphere, always taking the time to laugh and joke with him, something that was incredibly important to him. The Hawaiian themed garden party was such a delight and we will treasure that special memory. These moments of warmth and happiness made a real impact. Thank you for making such a difference in his life.

Whilst she enjoyed the stay at Cavell Park, it's still too early for that final move. The plan is to wait a little longer for life to settle down before deciding where home will be, and consider short holiday breaks in the meantime.

Very friendly and helpful staff on hand 24/7, nothing was too much trouble. It gave my mum a well needed rest and us as a family.

It's such a treat to visit the coffee lounge, it makes us feel as if we have taken our relative out for coffee. Nothing is too much trouble "a glass of wine perhaps", is such a treat. So happy with our choice.
