My mother-in-law was 100 on 24.7.25 - Brookwater House staff made a wonderful party for her which was caring & personal with every detail thought out. She had a lovely day and we as a family are very grateful for all the effort that went into this special occasion. Especial thanks to two members of
staff, in particular, and the violinist. This was a special day for all the residents

We'd come to the point where mum wasn't safe to be at home alone. And she hated having a live-in carer. So my brother and I started the difficult and daunting task of searching for a suitable care home. Not only did we find one just a mile away from me, but it was practically brand new with an immaculate
garden.
9 months later we're delighted with the choice we made and are hugely grateful and relieved that things have gone as well as could be hoped for. And a huge part of that is down to the expertise and friendliness of all of the staff. Mom now eats better, has lots of company, daily activities and people keeping an eye on her health and needs on a daily basis. She even gets her hair cut regularly. Because of the constant stimulation she's much better in her thinking and conversation. Plus the staff are equally welcoming of visitors and are very friendly and caring. It's doesn't feel like a "care home" at all. Everything has made a massive, positive change to all of our lives.

My husband has been a resident in Brookwater House since March and has settled in very well. The staff are very kind and friendly and can't do enough for you. There is very much a family atmosphere. The food is excellent and there is always something going on to entertain the residents.

I am pleased to say that my Dad has settled in and is enjoying his time at Brook water house care home. He enjoys the activities which are daily , he loves the interaction with staff & residents, he is free to roam the premises and enjoys the Gardens too. His room is spacious with en suite and they
provide hot meals.
Families and Friends are also welcome to the events that they hold and there is always a lovely buffet too.
I can rest easily knowing that my Dad is being cared for.

I have always been given a very friendly welcome on entering the building. Refreshments always offered. Assistance given to my friend when she requires help. She looks clean and dressed well. Such a friendly atmosphere all sound.

We are really impressed with the caring environment. Our father has returned from hospital after a long stay and the care team have gone the extra mile to reintegrate him into the home. They have been receptive to our concerns and acted to requests and suggestions.

Our mum has been at Brookwater House for six months. Prior to that she had live-in care for a couple of years. Brookwater House is by far the better arrangement for my mum and for the family. My brother and I checked out a number of care homes in the local area and thought Brookwater House looked the
nicest. We are comfortable we made the right choice. The staff are kind, caring, welcoming, warm and attentive. The property is well maintained, immaculately clean and comfy. We feel very comfortable mum is in the right place, the best place, given her situation and age.

This home is one of the best homes we encountered from the minute my mother went there, there care was exceptional. We really feel that my mother actually improved during her time there and she lived a longer and healthy life. The homeworkers actually care about the residents. Its not just a job for
them. Their care is with love, care and most of all respect and dignity. The manager and her team are an asset to the company.

Brookwater House is, in my opinion, a 5 star rating home. I visited around 15 homes before choosing this one for my partner & definitely know this was the right decision, The staff are friendly & kin and do everything they can to make the residents feel at home. On the 11th Feb it was my partners 89th
birthday & on my request, they organised a birthday party for him and all the residents. We had a beautiful cake & proccesco & a singer to entertain us *organised by me) I visit the home every day, all the staff & residents know me by name and treat me with great respect & kindness and as if I am one of them!

The homemakers are very kind and helpful. The rooms and the rest of Brookwater House Care Home are always kept clean. Activities are quite varied and adequate, especially the crafts.
The chef is very attentive to my requirements and tries very hard to please.

I came to visit my old neighbour at Brookwater House Care Home yesterday. I was so impressed with everything about the home and I left incredibly happy knowing she lives there now! Brookwater House is extremely clean, comfortable and the resident's rooms are well-maintained and spacious. Every staff
member we met was friendly, kind and very helpful and you can tell they are all very caring individuals and are all passionate about their role at the home. There are plenty of activities daily which the residents can choose to participate in. I was there for a very lovely celebration of Remembrance Day, followed by some dancing. The surroundings are wonderful, it is next to the New River so it is very peaceful. There is a vegetable garden and my neighbour explained she enjoys living there as there is always lots to do! I can't fault anything about Brookwater House - we were made to feel very welcome and the whole atmosphere and experience were incredibly positive. Thank you!

I think this is an excellent care home and as a retired GP, I have visited former patients in a number of local care homes. It is a bright and cheerful environment and kept immaculately clean. The staff are delightful. There is a nice friendly atmosphere too. Well done all and thank you.

From the day my father entered this care home, he has been looked after in such a high degree with kindness, respect and abundance of love. Because of this, he sleeps and eats so well.

When I first arrived at Brookwater House Care Home it was at the tail end of bad experiences with other care homes. A lack of integrity and quality of care had left our family feeling frustrated and cynical about finding a suitable home for my mother. Brookwater House however has been a revelation in
terms of my mother's recovery. The customer relations manager and home manager helped restore our trust and have provided exceptional service for not only my mother but the entire family. Amazing care home!

Brookwater House Care Home is an absolutely stunning care home with great attention to detail. There's always something fun going on, whether it's exercise classes, baking or live music, meaning the residents don't ever get bored. The staff are absolutely lovely! So many friendly and helpful, caring
people in one building! It fills me with so much confidence knowing my mum is in such good hands.
The building, bedrooms and communal areas are also gorgeous, as are the gardens. I'm delighted with Brookwater, as is my mother. Thank you!

Daniela

Daniela Danciulescu

Daniela Danciulescu is a Registered General Nurse and the Home Manager at Brookwater House. Originally qualifying as a nurse in Romania, Daniela gained extensive experience across various clinical settings, including emergency medicine and intensive care.


A highly skilled and experienced registered manager, Daniela joined Hamberley Care Homes in 2022. She has successfully led care teams at Barchester Healthcare, Four Seasons Care, and the NHS. Over her career, Daniela has opened two new care homes and supported three others in achieving Good and Outstanding CQC ratings.


Now based in London, Daniela spends her free time flying in vintage airplanes, including the iconic Tiger Moth, and relaxing at home with her cat, Ivan.

With nine years of experience in the care sector, Amba has developed extensive expertise in sales and marketing. She is committed to delivering exceptional support to residents and their families, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout their care journey. Outside of work, Amba is a passionate football fan and a devoted lifelong supporter of Arsenal Football Club!
