We are sorry that it appears your mothers ring was lost. We do ask that valuable items are not brought into the home and that they are insured if they are. It is regrettable that very small, but very valuable items, such as rings, can be mislaid or lost all too easily. We have not acted in breach in section 47 of the Care Act and have not obstructed the local authority at all. We do, however, accept that our response to your reporting the loss was not as prompt or helpful as it ought to have been and we apologise for that. We have made a payment to your late mothers estate for the cost of a replacement ring.
We are sorry that our food was not entirely to your taste and that the options you chose were not properly communicated to the kitchen. e did note that you spent much of the day out of the Lodge, so were not able to participate in activities. We pride ourselves on, among other things, the quality of our food offering and our activities/exercise programmes for our residents and are re-doubling our efforts in those areas.
Thank you for taking time to share your feedback with us. We as a home are committed to making the necessary improvements in our service we will be reviewing our nursing care to ensure we provide better experience in the future. Kind Regards

Hello, my name is Anthony. I am the Senior Sales Advisor based at Windmill Lodge, Lytham St. Anne's. My role is to support families from their enquiry stage through to admission of their loved ones whether that is for Respite or a more permanent residency. As part of this role, I also work with Professionals who can help relatives through the process and ensure a smooth and stress-free transition.
The rewarding nature of the role allows me to help relatives and loved ones through the most challenging decision they may take in relation to a loved one, and then see their loved one flourish here.
I have enjoyed the rewarding nature of the care industry during my time supporting adults with Autism and seeing how their own transitions to gaining more independence and new skills are unique and inspiring to me and I’m sure others too. This has led me to make a full career change and become focused on care services and seeing relatives and loved ones who choose to reside here gain more independence and benefit from the sense of community that the home provides.
I decided to make the change over to Athena Healthcare because they have wonderful reviews and read about the amazing experiences that relatives and loved ones have had. I deeply believe in the progress so far and the future of the home going forward and providing the best care services for your loved ones.
During downtime, I spend time with my wife, and long walks and I like to take my camera out for some landscape photography. I also do love Starbucks regularly too.
