A new setting, situated in Charlton Down near Dorchester, the home specialises in residential care, dementia care, and short-term respite care, and can accommodate up to eighty-four people.

With state-of-the-art facilities to cater to various care needs, the home also offers plenty of amenities to ensure residents continue to enjoy each day. I got to the stage where my mother had to be put into a care home. We searched for a care home and I think we found the perfect one in Sellwood House. They were and still are very helpful, they take really good care of my mum and they've made the whole process so smooth. They keep her very busy and
it's just a lovely place for her to stay. I would honestly give everything a 10 out of 10.

The care for my father has been fantastic. All staff have taken the time to get to know him and make him feel at home. The food is excellent, and the option to book a private dining area for family get-togethers has worked really well.
The weekly trips out and daily indoor activities have been great
fun for my father, keeping him entertained and stimulated sufficiently for his stage of dementia. I’ve been regularly updated on his care and all staff have made me feel welcome when I come to visit. I would thoroughly recommend this care home.
