Bentley Grange Care Home

We cannot speak highly enough of the care our dad received during his time here. From the very beginning, we were struck by the high standard of care, kindness and compassion shown by every member of staff. Dad was always treated with dignity, patience and genuine affection. It was clear that the staff didn't simply see caring for him as a job - they took the time to know him as a person and made sure he was comfortable, safe and cared for with respect. As his needs increased, the level of care and compassion shown to him was exceptional. Knowing that he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared about him gave our family enormous reassurance, particularly towards the end of his life. The kindness shown to us as a family during that time also meant more than we can say. It takes very special people to do this work with such patience, warmth and humanity, and we could not have wished for him to have been in better hands. Our heartfelt thanks to the whole team for everything you did.

Thankyou for supporting my sister in law in the last two weeks of her life so well - and dealing with her every need.

Thank you to all for taking such good care of my Grandad and reliving the pressure and worry I had for him. You were all a great source of support for me too and I'm really grateful to you all.

All staff from Management to all staff cared and looked after my Mum with Care Respect and Dignity.All staff also treated all of us (family members) with care and compassion.The facilities are 5 * although Mum could and did not use them due to her illness.I have recommended the Home to my friend who was also very impressed and wanted to also recommend the Home to her Uncle.

Great personal care. The place is lovely: bright, clean and spacious. Respect and care was shown throughout my Dad's stay as well as sensitivity to his needs and character. It was noticeable especially that they bent to accommodate his needs and wishes rather than try to constrain him into their way of doing things. I am so glad he ended his days in Bentley Grange rather than a less welcoming and personable home. Even he gave it a score of 90% which, for him, is quite something!

Each floor has a dining room and lounge area.

The staff are focused on providing care on an individual basis and nothing seems too much trouble.

I would highly recommend this establishment.

Bentley Grange, what can I say...... Wow!!! Mum arrived from hospital to receive palliative care. Her words as she arrived was 'it's beautiful'. Although only there for a short stay she received the best care from all the staff. She was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. As family we were able to be there whenever we wanted day or night. Bentley grange looked after the family as much as my mum, nothing was too much trouble. A massive thankyou goes out to everyone at the home and would recommend this place to anyone 100%.

My mum has been at Bentley for about 8 weeks the staff are compassionate and very professional. They treat mum with dignity and respect and nothing is too trouble. They always have a lovely smile when you meet them in the corridors.

It is a wonderful place for my mum to be. Amazing staff and care so far. The communication between staff is very good and they all seem to know mum and what was happening for her. She needed to press her buzzer more often when she first arrived following her very recent operation but it was answered quickly and with a friendly smile, she had nothing but praise for the way they interacted with her and neither do I. The management seems to be attentive and available to residents, staff and family when needed. Mum has been here a few weeks now and has put on weight and is getting stronger by the day. It's meeting all her needs and ours. She recently went to the Christmas tree festival and really enjoyed being out and about. Thanks Bentley Grange for giving me back a feeling of relaxation, knowing she is with you has taken away the stress and the relaxed atmosphere you have created is fabulous.

The team at Bentley Grange (Biddenham) are fantastic. It is clear that they are deeply caring people who really get involved in resident's lives.

Support is provided to families who are often going through difficult times and emotions can run high but the team are clearly experienced at supporting families and helping them understand what can be achieved.

The individual rooms and the wider set of spaces available for residents and families are pristine, extensive and also very welcoming.

Thank you to every single person who has supported my father and family during a very hard few months.

A sanctuary of calm , care and compassion

Whilst Gran didnt go on any of them, the care home organise and facilitate a range of external trips and visits, which is great for the residents to be able to attend activities outside of the home. This is supplemented by the activities delivered on site too by the team

My husband and I have recently been in Bentley Grange, Biddenham, one as a resident and one for respite. It is a beautifully appointed Care Home and the staff deserve the highest praise for the care they give, for their friendliness, their kindness and their attention to detail. It is without doubt the best run and happieste Care Home to spend time in.

My mother arrived in Bentley Grange from hospital on end of life care. The staff looked after her very well and I was comforted to know that she was getting the best care she could for her remaining days. The staff were friendly and attentive and I would have no hesitation in recommending Bentley Grange to care for a loved one.

My aunt has been a resident of Bentley Grange care home for over 12 months. During this time as a dementia resident she has flourished in the care of this dedicated team of staff and the management. She enjoys the meals, which she personally chooses from a menu everyday, has put on weight (which was much needed as she had become malnourished). She has become far more engaged with her family and surroundings. She is treated with kindness, respect, dignity and care, always clean and well presented. She is included in the many social activities provided by a dedicated team, including a recent daytrip to the seaside. The home, her property and her room are always immaculately kept I am very grateful for the hard work of the staff, their kindness and the positive and safe environment. I would not hesiate in recommending this care home, I cannot find fault, my aunts placement here has been a blessing, for her and our peace of mind.

I cannot recommend Bentley Grange Care Home highly enough. The staff are kind, friendly, supportive and incredibly attentive, not only towards residents but also to families. There is a genuine sense of warmth, kindness and care as soon as you walk through the door; staff are cheerful and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My husband, who has dementia, has been at Bentley Grange for six months and is benefiting from the socialisation and varied programme of activities which have vastly improved his wellbeing and cognitive abilities. Bentley Grange is more like a 5-star luxury hotel than a care home and I cannot praise the manager and staff highly enough. Thank you!
