I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years with a noted 5 years within the market-leading Signature family. I have held the positions of both Dementia Care Manager and Residential Care Manager, but dementia care is my passion, and it is such a rewarding and fulfilling role. As Dementia Care Manager at Signature at Highgate, it is my responsibility to ensure that our residents are delivered the highest standards of person-centred care and that they are supported to live a fulfilling and happy life whilst living with dementia. I feel very blessed to be a part of a beautiful Signature home and I am confident that we can make such a difference in crucial moments in our residents' journeys, and I am honoured to be trusted with the care of the residents here.

As a qualified nurse with over 15 years of experience in the elderly sector, I am excited about the opportunity to create a nurturing and luxurious environment for our residents at Signature at Highgate. Building on my previous experience, I am committed to ensuring that every aspect of our residents' lives is enriched, and their wellbeing is prioritised. Working alongside an exceptional team, I am eager to utilise my skills in managing day-to-day operations, fostering a collaborative work environment, and delivering personalised care that exceeds expectations. My goal is to make Signature at Highgate a place where residents feel cherished, safe and truly at home. I believe in the power of building strong relationships with residents, their loved ones and the community. By actively engaging with local healthcare providers and participating in outreach initiatives, I aim to create a supportive network that enhances the lives of those we care for.
I started with Signature in May 2018 in Wimbledon. In my role as Hospitality Manager, I will be managing an engaged and dedicated team to deliver luxury hospitality throughout the home to our residents and their loved ones. I am committed to delivering the highest standards of service and satisfaction. I am adept at managing large teams and appreciate the importance of consistency. Before joining Signature at Highgate, I worked for Signature Barnet, Hendon, Wimbledon and Wandsworth. Previously, I worked in the hotel industry at The Metropolitan Hotel, Park Lane in London. I have a post-graduate qualification in Hospitality Management, and I believe I bring passion, creativity and style to my role. Coming to a care home environment was initially challenging but offered tremendous satisfaction and opportunities and I was confident that I could improve the quality of our residents’ lives with my track record gained working in luxury environments.
I am very happy to have opened and commissioned my third new build home for Signature. I feel totally honoured and privileged to be seeing the homes begin their journey as a building site and to follow their path into being fully open and welcoming our residents into their new homes. I enjoy being at Signature at Highgate with such a great team, and for me to be able to pass on my knowledge of the building and its systems as we start to grow. As with all of my previous homes, I will ensure that everyone has a safe and warm environment for us all to be in.
I am the General Manager for Signature at Highgate. My role is to ensure we honour and deliver our commitment to providing the highest quality of care in a luxury environment. I am responsible for overall service delivery to our customers and community, inspiring and leading the onsite team and ensuring high standards of governance and compliance are achieved.
Over the last 10 years, I have had the privilege of serving the healthcare sector through managing and leading frontline care services for our elderly population. I have met with many individuals who have willingly shared their life experiences and wisdom with me. This has reinforced my sense of duty and heightened my level of respect for our elders.
Over that time, I have been proud to lead and work alongside some amazing team members who have had a genuine passion for care and a true desire to serve. I have learned a great deal from these colleagues along my career journey.
I am very much a people person. I truly believe in the values of responsibility, integrity, kindness, compassion and doing what I can for others. The care sector has afforded me the opportunity to ‘live’ these values in the workplace, for which I am truly grateful.
I was immediately drawn to Signature because of the culture and principles the organisation aspires to. I joined the Signature team in 2017, and I am now passionately working with the community and team here to take the home’s services forward. The team and I are fully committed to embedding the core principles of empathy, care, compassion and integrity into the Highgate community.
