As soon as my mother arrived she was made to feel at home and all the staff made such a fuss of her. Her accommodation is spacious, bright and beautifully clean. Every member of the staff is without exception professional, caring and genuinely thoughtful. The food is of 5-star standard. I would join my mother for a meal every day if I could! We as a family did not know what to expect but the quality of the home is superb and the staff and their care have exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words, I will pass them on to our team. We love to see you when you do join and you are always welcome.
My wife has been cared for by Signature for only three weeks. After an unhappy experience elsewhere Signature has proved to be an amazing discovery. I can now relax knowing she is in safe, caring hands. none of the staff wait to be asked but offer help non-stop. We all know that recruiting care staff is tough but someone has chosen brilliantly. I see miles of smiles and I know where I am going for five-star care when I need help myself.
Thank you for your lovely review, we are delighted to have your wife with us at Highgate. I'm happy you can see how hard the team work to meet all our resident's needs. I will pass on your kind words to the team here.
I have found the staff extremely kind and helpful for my overnight stay.
Thank you for the lovely review, it was wonderful to have you stay with us.
I visited my friend and left feeling I would like to come in for respite.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback, we look forward to seeing you soon. Kind regards.
As soon as you walk in, the place feels immediately like a five-star hotel, rather than a care home. They really encourage social events and activities, and for residents to take part in everyday life as much as possible. Every member of staff we come across is friendly and welcoming and has time to chat.
A big shout out to two members of staff in particular who helped from our initial enquiry to organise Mum's transfer, and dealt with our endless questions.
It's a place we can feel happy when we walk out of the door, knowing that Mum is not just having her needs met, but being looked after like a guest.
Thank you for your kind words, we are so pleased you can see how amazing our team is here at Signature Highgate. I will pass on your review to our team. We love seeing you all visit and look forward to welcoming you soon, kind regards.
My mother was extremely well cared for during her last few days. After a long and gruelling hospital stay, the staff restored her dignity and confidence. She had a lovely room and her wishes were quickly fulfilled.
Thank you for your kind words, we are so glad we could be here to support your mother in her final days. I will pass on your comments to our team.
Everyone and everything at Signature Bishops Avenue has been good. The staff are kind and obliging, and the restaurant and food are excellent. I have met interesting people and enjoyed the outdoor spaces during the sunny weather.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we hope to have you visit us soon.
We - her family and friends are delighted with the care and kindness shown to her in the almost two months since she first arrived at Signature Highgate. I can do no better than to quote one of her closest chums who told us: 'She is far more relaxed, bright and content than we've seen for ages. So good to see her doing so well.'
Thank you so much for your kind words, we are glad you can see how well she is doing here at Highgate. I will pass on your comments to the team.
I am a private support worker for a resident at Signature at Highgate. When my friend recently returned back home to his residence at Signature at Highgate after a very nasty experience at the hospital. He was greeted back at Signature with open arms and all of the staff (both night and day) were incredible with him and very attentive. He felt like he was back in a safe place with family which helped in his recovery. We are very grateful for the staff at Signature at Highgate.
Thank you for your kind review. We are glad you can see the hard work the team puts into keeping the home at the highest standards.
Signature is a very high-end care home. Everything in a five-star hotel or cruise ship would be other than the food which is at a four-star level.
Thank you for your lovely review; we are delighted you feel the standard of Highgate is so high. I will pass on your kind words to the team.
It is a pleasure to spend the rest of my days here!
Thank you for your lovely review, we are delighted to have you with us at Highgate.
Everything fine.
Thank you for your review; we are glad you can see the hard work the team puts into keeping the home at the highest standards. It's wonderful to have you with us.
My visit is the first to see a friend who is a resident here. What a warm, friendly welcome by the staff. The furnishings match the warmth of the place. I know that my friend is very happy here and is most complimentary about the staff. Well done and thank you.
Thank you for your lovely review, I'm so glad that you can see how much the team care and support our residents. We look forward to you visiting again soon.
It has been a difficult time for me and my husband, but I have found the staff to be very caring and patient. The facilities are very good. The living areas are kept extremely clean and tidy and are beautifully furnished. There is a lovely atmosphere and staff are very attentive at all times.
Thank you for your lovely review, I will pass on your kind words to our team. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Knowing that your loved one is in good hands, with a well organised team and fantastic infrastructure is a massive relief at a point in time where most things seems quite dark.
The team judge well when not to and when to be present; they are caring, kind and hard-working. Sensitive to my father's needs. Encouraging him to join the community as much as possible whilst respecting his wishes for privacy too.
All together the Signature experience has only enhanced my father's life and as a result his family's.
Thank you for your wonderful review, I will pass on the kind words to our team. We are so happy that Dad is happy with us here at Highgate.
The staff are all attentive, helpful and subtle in the way that they support my mother so that they seem more like caring friends than carers. She can remain independent in all her choices and activities while accessing a full range of in-house entertainment. As an example, saying that she likes opera, several operas have been screened in the cinema especially for her.
The facilities are more like a luxury hotel with food freshly prepared for each dinner from a small but varied and healthy menu. Guests are always welcome and can be hosted in her private apartment or the public lounges with free coffee and cakes provided. Saying that she likes granola for breakfast, it appeared on the menu by day 3!
Thank you for your lovely review; we are delighted to have your mum with us at Highgate, and I'm happy you can see how hard the team work to meet all our resident's needs. I will pass on your kind words to the team here.

Meet the Team (6)

I worked for the NHS for over 10 years in care while raising my children, which has enabled me to have a greater insight into my role as Client Liaison Manager. I am here to support residents and their loved ones in making their decision about their long-term care needs. The most rewarding parts of my job are showcasing our beautiful home and enabling potential residents and their loved ones to visualise how we can enrich their lives with everything we have to offer here at Signature.

I am the General Manager for Signature at Highgate. My role is to ensure we honour and deliver our commitment in providing the highest quality of care in a luxury environment. I am responsible for overall service delivery to our customers and community, inspiring and leading the onsite team and ensuring high standards of governance and compliance are achieved.
Over the last 10 years, I have had the privilege of serving the healthcare sector through managing and leading frontline care services for our elderly population. I have met with many individuals who have willingly shared their life experiences and wisdom with me. This has reinforced my sense of duty and heightened my level of respect for our elders. During this time, I have been proud to lead and work alongside some amazing team members who have a genuine passion for care and a true desire to serve. I have learned a great deal from these colleagues along my career journey.
I am very much a people person, and I truly believe in the values of responsibility, integrity, kindness, compassion and doing what I can for others. The care sector has afforded me the opportunity to live these values in the workplace, for which I am truly grateful.
I was immediately drawn to Signature because of the culture and principles the organisation aspires to. I joined the Signature team in 2017, and I am now passionately working with the community and team here to take the home’s services forward. The team and I are fully committed to embedding the core principles of empathy, care, compassion and integrity into the Highgate community.

I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, with five of those years spent proudly within the market-leading Signature Family. I have held the positions of both Dementia Care Manager and Residential Care Manager, but Dementia Care is my passion, and it is such a rewarding and fulfilling role. As Dementia Care Manager at Signature at Highgate, it is my responsibility to ensure that our residents receive the highest standards of person-centred care and are supported to live fulfilling and happy lives while living with Dementia. I feel very blessed to be a part of a beautiful Signature home, and I am confident that we can make a meaningful difference during crucial moments in our residents’ journeys. I am honoured to be trusted with the care of your loved ones.

With nearly 19 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, I moved into care because what began as volunteering grew into a deep, heartfelt calling – and today, I love every moment of my work here.
My career started in five-star hotels, where I led front?of?house operations and managed large, high-profile properties for over 15 years. I built expertise in flawless service, team leadership, attention to detail, and creating warm, memorable experiences for every guest. When I volunteered during the pandemic – supporting the NHS and local communities – I realised how much I wanted to bring that same dedication to people who deserve care that feels personal, dignified, and truly special.
I blend my hospitality background with a person-centred approach to care: I oversee all hospitality operations, lead and train the team, and ensure every detail – from meals and surroundings to activities and daily touches – supports our Members’ comfort, happiness, and wellbeing. I’m known for being hands-on, leading with kindness, and inspiring everyone around me to deliver refined, thoughtful care and service every day.
Outside work, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and staying involved in my local community – passions that all feed into how I help make our residence feel like home

I have worked in the care sector for the past 10 years, building my experience across different roles. For the last three years, I have been proud to be part of the Signature Family, where I have continued to grow professionally while supporting teams to deliver outstanding care.
As Residential Care Manager at Signature at Highgate, my focus is to ensure our residents receive the highest standards of person-centred care in a safe, supportive and compassionate environment. I am passionate about empowering my team and recognising the important role they play in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we care for every day.
Working in care is incredibly rewarding. I feel privileged to support residents and their families during important moments in their lives, ensuring each person is treated with dignity, kindness and respect. I strongly believe in the Signature values of compassion, integrity, accountability and positivity, and I strive to embed these principles in everything we do within our home.
I am proud to work alongside such a dedicated and caring team, and together we are committed to creating a warm and welcoming community where residents feel valued, supported and truly at home.

As a Maintenance Manager, I bring over 7 years of experience in ensuring Signature at Highgate remains safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for everyone. My primary focus is creating a safe environment, with particular attention to fire safety, compliance, and the smooth day-to-day operation of the home. I take pride in maintaining high standards and responding quickly to any maintenance needs, helping to ensure the residents are comfortable, secure, and satisfied with the place they call home.
