Marsh Farm Manor care home is welcoming new residents for residential and residential dementia care. It is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built care home, for up to 66 older people in a supportive environment, finished to the highest standard and incorporating the latest supportive technology.

Marsh Farm Manor has achieved Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) accreditation and is proud to be able to provide tailored care for veterans.

Marsh Farm Manor's impressive facilities include all bedrooms with en suite wet room facilities and fitted furniture. The home's facilities include a bar area, cinema room, tea room and garden room to support residents' interests. It is surrounded by private landscaped gardens with outdoor seating areas. The home benefits from a large, safe balcony on the first floor and it is located within a short distance of local amenities.

Mum and dad have been here for nearly 2 weeks and everything has been very good.The staff have been very friendly and professional.

Various issues with basic levels of care that have had to be addressed over and over, things change for a short while and then quickly revert back to poor levels of care. There are some good staff but sadly let down by inept staff. Have had raise several complaints on behalf of my relative, mostly
lip service shown and very little permanent change

This home is light, bright and spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable with all the facilities needed for a happy stay. Activities are good, plenty to do if you want to get involved. The staff are lovely and helpful. Only small negative is that some laundry went for washing and never returned - perhaps
something to look at so other residents don't have the same experience. Overall, a lovely place I would recommend to others.

Found the home to be modern, bright, airy, warm welcome from the staff and helpful with any queries. The choice of food was excellent and the establishment was very clean throughout. A nice relaxed atmosphere and the relative was settled in well.

Not sure what the staff to patient ratio should be but at times it seems under staffed. The carers seem to spend most of the time dishing out food and drinks, less enforcement on carrying out care. More checks are needed to empty the catheter bag and systems in place to dispose of dirty and soiled laundry.
In general it feels more like a residential home than a care home.

My aunt came to Marsh Farm Manor for respite care and has been so happy she has decided to stay long term. All the team are so helpful and friendly and the facilities are great. My time at Marsh Farm Care Home has been on the whole excellent. The staff are marvellous. The food is great. Apart from a little weakness in the activities dept, I haven't felt too bored. Sadly though I still miss my home and it does hurt a lot. Because of this, I am making tentative arrangements to
go home and have care from a company of carers and friends. It may not work out but I will give it my best shot. I will miss you all very much, but at the same time, I feel excited about being home and would love you all to visit.
I thank you all for the love and care you have shown me during my time here.

The worst care home I have ever been in was like being in a prison. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff.
I would describe it as a cheap hotel with security guards.
Made to feel very unwelcome. Patients treated like children, unnecessary.

Mum has been at Marsh Farm since June of this year. She has settled in well and the surroundings are always immaculate, clean, and tidy throughout, and no complaints from mum. All the staff are amazing going above and beyond to deal with any queries that I may have and I personally can't recommend this
care home enough. Excellent work to the manager and the team at Marsh Farm.

My mother was 90 today and the staff were simply marvellous as usual.
They all made the day for us all as a family special.
Always on hand for taking family photos, nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks to all the staff.
