Marsh Farm Manor care home is welcoming new residents for residential and residential dementia care. It is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built care home, for up to 66 older people in a supportive environment, finished to the highest standard and incorporating the latest supportive technology.

Marsh Farm Manor has achieved Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) accreditation and is proud to be able to provide tailored care for veterans.

Marsh Farm Manor's impressive facilities include all bedrooms with en suite wet room facilities and fitted furniture. The home's facilities include a bar area, cinema room, tea room and garden room to support residents' interests. It is surrounded by private landscaped gardens with outdoor seating areas. The home benefits from a large, safe balcony on the first floor and it is located within a short distance of local amenities.

Not sure what the staff to patient ratio should be but at times it seems under staffed. The carers seem to spend most of the time dishing out food and drinks, less enforcement on carrying out care. More checks are needed to empty the catheter bag and systems in place to dispose of dirty and soiled laundry.
In general it feels more like a residential home than a care home.

My aunt came to Marsh Farm Manor for respite care and has been so happy she has decided to stay long term. All the team are so helpful and friendly and the facilities are great. She loves the decoration of her room and being able to see out into the garden. Im so pleased she is happy and safe in a really

My time at Marsh Farm Care Home has been on the whole excellent. The staff are marvellous. The food is great. Apart from a little weakness in the activities dept, I haven't felt too bored. Sadly though I still miss my home and it does hurt a lot. Because of this, I am making tentative arrangements to
go home and have care from a company of carers and friends. It may not work out but I will give it my best shot. I will miss you all very much, but at the same time, I feel excited about being home and would love you all to visit.
I thank you all for the love and care you have shown me during my time here.

The worst care home I have ever been in was like being in a prison. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff.
I would describe it as a cheap hotel with security guards.
Made to feel very unwelcome. Patients treated like children, unnecessary.

Mum has been at Marsh Farm since June of this year. She has settled in well and the surroundings are always immaculate, clean, and tidy throughout, and no complaints from mum. All the staff are amazing going above and beyond to deal with any queries that I may have and I personally can't recommend this
care home enough. Excellent work to the manager and the team at Marsh Farm.

I couldn't recommend this care home highly enough, the facility is modern, pristine and immediately kept. The quality of the facility is only outmatched by the staff, professional and genuinely caring, so very pleased to have chosen this care home for my mum.

My mother was 90 today and the staff were simply marvellous as usual.
They all made the day for us all as a family special.

Respite care was for me my salvation towards recovery in a beautiful yet functional building known as Marsh Farm Manor Care Home. The present team of carers have been welded into a very good, supportive body of men and women of all nationalities. They have both time and ability, giving me the environment
that I felt safe in, as my health changed towards returning to normal living. The variety and excellent quality of food, helped by the care of hair, feet, mental health and entertainment all helped me in my early struggle of mental anguish. I return a better man because I entered these portals full of expectation and was not disappointed. Thank you.

The lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful on booking in and leaving and checked the facilities for any maintenance work required. I was able to point out that a table just needed a part mending. I was surprised to see a bar but that no fitness facilities were present, such as exercise equipment
or a pool. I was disappointed that there was no bottled water available for lunch or herbal/caffeine-free teas. The lunch was not very appetising and very old style and would benefit from being healthier and more cosmopolitan. However, overall a well thought out and good standard of accommodation and service.

Our homes are purpose built with residents and their needs in mind, we offer a varied exercise and activities schedule which our residents can join in if they choose. These are planned with our residents wishes taken into account. We are more than happy to supply caffeine free/herbal tea options for our residents if these are requested. We do try to avoid bottled water in order to reduce our carbon footprint and to remain aligned with our sustainability goals in our business plan. Water is available 24/07 as our residents request or as needed. The menus are created with our residents input, we hold monthly residents meetings and the upcoming menu items are discussed and decided upon. We offer regular themed nights so our residents can taste something new if they wish. We pride ourselves on offering a good selection of freshly cooked nutritious meals.

Mum was transferred straight from hospital to Marsh Farm Manor, a new care home in the area. Beautifully furnished with all the facilities you could wish for, lovely quality rooms, mum had a pressure sore from the hospital, they ordered a special air-controlled mattress for her the next day. The food
is exceptional, she is now eating three nutritious meals a day after hardly anything in the hospital. The doctor and nurse have already seen her, the staff are amazing from the hardworking manager to all the carers. Can't praise all of them enough, such a relief.

From the moment we entered the premises, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff members are not only professional but also display genuine compassion and empathy.
The facilities at Marsh Farm Manor are outstanding. The rooms are spacious and clean and are thoughtfully designed
to create a comfortable and homely environment. The dining experience is exceptional, the communal dining areas provide a lovely opportunity for the residents to socialise and enjoy meals together, creating a sense of community and camaraderie.
One aspect that stands out is the personalized care provided to each resident, the staff take the time to understand the needs and preferences of each person and take care to offer support while fostering a sense of dignity and respect.
I would not hesitate to recommend Marsh Farm Manor to anyone looking for a caring place for their relative.
