From the very first enquiry, the response and service has been first rate. The warm and relaxed atmosphere makes for a very welcoming environment. All the staff have been exceptional and very helpful and the events programme was great - very varied and friendly. The food has been excellent with a great choice. All in all it has been a very enjoyable experience - thank you for looking after my mother so well.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and for sharing your experience with Oakley Grange. Reading your kind words means so much to our entire team.
We are delighted to hear that you felt welcomed from your very first enquiry and that the warm, relaxed atmosphere, caring team, varied...
Oakley Grange is an amazing place. Everyone is so kind and caring. My mum and dad were living in another care home which I wasn't happy with. It was a hard decision to move them but once I had moved them I was delighted. The care is exceptional and I feel supported by the staff who look after my mum and dad, and I also feel part of the Oakley community.
We understand how difficult the decision to move loved ones into a care home can be, and we are truly honoured that you entrusted us with the care of both your mum and dad. It means so much to hear that...
Not only is Oakley Grange an exceptional facility but most importantly the positive, pro-active and caring culture which is evident across all of the staff from maintenance team through care team, catering & management. They invest time & effort to get to really know each resident. You are always greeted wtih a warm smile & genuine enthusiasm. It is evident they take great pride in their work. Since moving in my mum has received fantastic care & I receive pro-active updates from the care staff. The facilities could not be more lovely.
It means a great deal to the entire team to hear that your mum has settled so well and that you have felt supported throughout her journey with us. We are incredibly proud of the caring, positive, and proactive culture...
Mum stayed for two weeks respite whilst I, her daughter and carer, had surgery which meant I couldn't help her temporarily. It was a big step at age 91 to be alone in a new environment with unfamiliar people, new routines, etc., but total support was promised and delivered. Not only did they provide food, safety, healthcare, etc., but they took an active in her and learned how best to meet her individual needs. I witnessed first hand their wrap-around care for mum and how they treated residents and colleagues with respect and dignity. I saw the warm smiles that weren't put on just for me, I saw the reassuring hand on the shoulders of residents, I felt the genuine warmth from every member of staff, The team at Oakley Grange certainly know how to connect with people. They all display a "can-do" attitude and regularly go above and beyond for individuals. Mum and I feel that Oakley have an exemplary team. Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review.
It was truly our pleasure to care for your mum during what must have been a challenging time for you both. We understand how significant a step it is to move into a new environment, especially at 91, and we're so pleased to...
I arrived at Oakley Grange following a serious fall, resulting in a gractured collar bone. My reception was very professional and my first impressions were of entering a 5-star hotel. A bouquet of fresh flowers had been placed in my room and I was given every assistance to settle into my delightful accommodation, by kind and courteous staff (all clearly well trained). My one week of respite care has enabled me to recover sufficiently to return home and look after myself. My thanks to all.
We're so pleased we could support you during your recovery. Arriving after a serious fall must have been challenging, and it means so much to know you felt welcomed, comfortable and well cared for from the very...
Thanks so much to the incredible staff at Oakley looking after my father. It's not his first respite since having dementia but at Oakley we know he is content and living in luxury, a huge weight off our minds.
Every care home should strive to be as good as this, the staff are happy and exceptionally kind and competent. They really get the most out of everyone
They have also been really flexible in the care. Thanks for all your help during a difficult time for us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this fantastic review. We have really enjoyed having your father to stay with us. He seems to have really enjoyed all of the activities, and settled in so well. I will pass on your lovely feedback to the team. Don't forget you, and your mum and dad are always most welcome to pop in for a cup of tea, or join us for any of our events.
The staff are exceptional, friendly, professional and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and they always took time to make sure I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend Oakley Grange for a respite stay.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We really appreciate you taking the time to share this. We are so pleased that you found your experience to be so wonderful. We hope your recovery is going well, and don't forget you are most welcome to pop in for a latte, and a piece of cake at any point you are in the area.
All staff without fail are wonderful, they are kind, considerate and treat him so well. They have tailored his needs to exactly what he he wants in every respect. The meals are five star, healthy and delcious. He has been able to gain some weight he had lost after hospital and there is no doubt that staying at Oakley has been the key to this.
The manager and her team of wonderful carers and staff are all highly professional and proactive, nothing is too much trouble. We are very lucky to have found Oakley Grange and highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for leaving such a wonderful review of Oakley Grange, it has been an absolute pleasure to look after your father. We really do appreciate you taking the time to leave us this feedback and I will be certain to share this with the rest of our tea,
I want to thank you and the whole team at Oakley Grange for the help you gave to my wife during the ten days she spent with you following her hip operation.
I probably didn't meet everyone, but the colleagues that I did meet were, without exception, outstanding. They were all positive and supportive and gave all their attention to ensuring that my wife and any visitors were left happy and relaxed.
I may have told you that friends of ours, who made a visit to see her, had previously visited another friend who had been in five different care homes and they said that none had measured up to Oakley Grange. My experiences of visiting my mother and sister, although they were well looked after, were similar.
My wife is improving, although the progress is, as expected, fairly slow.
I will always recommend your home to anyone who is looking for assistance.
Thank you again.
From the first contact that I had with the home, it became clear the administration was excellent and the subsequent visit to my home by the deputy manager who is full of fun and laughter gave me the secure feeling that the approach to care was of happiness and I was not wrong in my judgement.
I spent 20 days radiated by excellent professional care both day and night always given with happiness by every member of the staff.
The food was excellent if I had eaten all that was available on the menu I would have put on another stone in weight.
It was with sadness that I returned home but I am pleased to say that my stay paid dividends and I was discharged from hospital.
I will be back!
Thank you so much, we loved meeting you and your family and are so happy you are on the mend! You are welcome to pop in anytime to Oakley. Rukmi, Maria and the rest of the team.
It's excellent in every way and I would highly recommend it for respite or long term.
Thank you for your wonderful review and glowing recommendation. My team and I are delighted to hear your feedback.
Very clean and professional environment. Excellent care.
Thank you for your great review. We're so proud of all our Team Members here and the difference they make.
My mother-in-law and father-in-law arrived at the beginning of September. They have settled in well and the care they have received is amazing care from the carers. All of the carers look after them, going beyond with massaging sore limbs, making coffee, shampooing and blow-drying hair. We as a family feel reassured by how happy and settled they are.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are truly delighted to hear that your mother-in-law and father-in-law have settled in well and are happy with the care they are receiving. It's always our priority to go the extra mile to ensure residents feel comfortable and cared for, and we're so...

Meet the Team (6)

One of the most rewarding parts of my role as Home Manager is being able to make a genuine, positive difference to our residents’ lives, continually enhancing their experience in later life. I am equally proud of supporting and developing our team, helping each individual grow in confidence and progress in their career. Above all, my focus is on ensuring every resident receives the very highest standard of person-centred care within a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.
My ExperienceMy journey in the care industry began over 30 years ago, following a school work experience placement that sparked a lifelong passion for care. I started my career as a Care Assistant and quickly progressed to a Senior Care Assistant role, gaining invaluable experience across hospitals, community support and more specialised care settings. I later progressed into management, working as a Care Manager within a 106-bed residential home before going on to commission a new 70-bed care home during the Covid pandemic. More recently, I have managed a nursing home. These experiences have shaped my approach to leadership, enabling me to guide teams through challenging times, drive continuous improvement and foster a positive, supportive culture where both residents and colleagues can thrive.
About meI enjoy spending time with my family by hosting big family gatherings, cooking together, and I love to travel and enjoy listening to reggae music. My children are my world, and I hope to raise them to be fair, respectful and open-minded individuals.

In my role as Deputy Manager, I support the General Manager in setting the standards for the home. I also work closely alongside the Team Leader, Senior Carers and the Care Team out on the floor to ensure there is quality in resident care. I like walking around the home, meeting the residents and the team and making sure all our residents have everything they need. I have developed strong relationships with our residents, relatives and other professionals. I also need to ensure the home meets the CQC requirements and the company’s aims and objectives. I like to support the team and mentor new team members. I am also the Train the Trainer Lead for Moving and Handling tasks.
My ExperienceI am a qualified registered nurse. I have worked in the care industry since I came to the UK in 2011. Working as a registered nurse helped me gain more experience and improve my skills. I possess experience working in Radiology as a Radiographer before coming to the UK. I started my career as a registered nurse in a care home. Over the years, I progressed to a Deputy Manager role and a Home Manager role in different companies. I have completed a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Lead to Succeed course. I joined Cinnamon Care Collection in March 2025 as Deputy Manager.
About MeI live with my partner and my son. I enjoy quality time with my family. I am a proud mom as my son is in his third year in an apprenticeship, working and studying to become an electrician. I enjoy travelling, I drove twice to Romania and took my cat Molly with me as well. I like holidays at the seaside, in different countries. I also have a kitten called Milo.

As Home Admissions Advisor, I support residents and their families from their very first enquiry, guiding them through the process of choosing the right care with confidence and peace of mind. I provide clear information about our care options, facilities and the expertise of our team, ensuring families feel informed and supported at every step. Visiting Oakley Grange is the best way to experience the warmth of our home and meet our exceptional team. I also work closely with local professionals and community groups to ensure Oakley Grange remains firmly connected to the local community. The highlight of my role is meeting our residents and hearing the stories of their remarkable lives.
My ExperienceMy career began in the finance sector, where I progressed from Team Manager roles within large brokers and lenders to Operations Manager at GE Money. Although I am a qualified Mortgage Advisor, my career path changed following the financial crash, leading me into the care sector.
It was during my time supporting families at a pre-opening care home that I discovered a genuine passion for the care industry. Since then, I have worked with a number of healthcare providers, guiding and supporting families through what can often be an emotional and challenging journey with empathy, understanding and reassurance.
About MeOutside of work, I have a love for music, especially live events. I enjoy everything from open-air concerts to tribute nights at the local pub, with my main wish being to get tickets for the Glastonbury Festival! I also enjoy art exhibitions, flower shows such as the Chelsea Flower Show, and simple pleasures like coffee and catch-ups with friends or quality time with family.

I support individuals and families as they begin their care journey, offering guidance, reassurance, and a friendly face every step of the way. Another important part of my role, and one I enjoy immensely, is organising community events and support groups within the home. These events bring residents, families, team members and the wider community together to create meaningful moments for everyone.
My ExperienceI joined Oakley Grange in October 2025 and have worked in the care sector since 2022. Before this, I built a successful career in event and hospitality management, as well as sales and marketing across a variety of genres, including within the charity sector. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered to support elderly and vulnerable people, which inspired my transition into care, a role where I could truly make a positive difference.
About MeI’m a huge animal lover with two elderly cats and a fish called Wander. In my spare time, I plan events and parties for friends and family, including weddings and charity fundraisers. I also have a passion for all things vintage and enjoy upcycling furniture, even creating bespoke vintage pieces with my daughter to raise money for local charities.

I am responsible for preparing nutritious and enjoyable meals for our residents while ensuring their individual dietary needs and preferences are met. For me, food is not just about nutrition; it is about comfort, dignity, and creating small moments of joy each day. The most rewarding part of my role is receiving positive feedback from residents at the end of service. Seeing their smiles and hearing that they enjoyed their meal makes the work truly worthwhile.
My ExperienceBefore joining Oakley Grange in 2025, I worked in other care homes where I gained valuable experience supporting residents with a wide range of needs, dietary requirements, and personal preferences. My experience in care settings has helped me understand how important good food is to residents’ wellbeing and daily happiness.
About MeOutside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I like playing tennis and keeping fit whenever I can. I also enjoy going on road trips and exploring new places. One of the things I appreciate most about working at Oakley Grange is the amazing team in the kitchen. We have a strong team spirit, which creates a positive environment where it feels like more than just a job.

As Hospitality Supervisor at Oakley Grange, I oversee the day-to-day running of our hosts and hostesses, ensuring every resident enjoys a warm, welcoming and refined dining experience. My role is about more than service; it’s about creating meaningful moments that enhance our residents’ quality of life. I take pride in delivering an elegant, seamless hospitality experience within a luxury care setting, where comfort, dignity and attention to detail always come first.
Unlike many hospitality roles, my work carries real emotional meaning. I value building relationships with residents and their families, creating positive experiences, and being part of a team that genuinely cares about maintaining high standards.
My ExperienceI joined Oakley Grange in January 2026 and bring with me around 10 years of experience within the health and care sector. My career has spanned domiciliary care and residential settings, progressing from Care Assistant to Senior, Care Coordinator, Junior Nursing roles, and Hospitality Leadership within luxury care homes.
It was in those luxury settings that my passion for hospitality was reignited, managing dining teams and delivering fine dining experiences that truly made a difference to residents’ everyday lives. This role allows me to combine my care background with my love of hospitality, all within an environment I know and genuinely enjoy.
About MeOutside of work, life is wonderfully busy with three children, a cat, a dog, and a partner in the forces, so “hobbies” are more of a theoretical concept! When I do get the chance to relax, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and cheering on Birmingham City FC. After years of loyal suffering, they’ve finally become a team that’s actually fun to watch!
