Hillside Court is a 41-bed care home in Beeston, Leeds, that provides high-quality nursing care for adults living with complex health and care needs.

It’s part of Exemplar Health Care, one of the country’s leading nursing care providers.

Hillside Court isn’t your typical care or nursing home. It supports people whose needs are often considered ‘too complex’ for mainstream care settings.

The home has four nurse-led units, each with its own distinct care model and tailored environment, ensuring highly personalised support.

- Horsforth Unit supports working-age adults with complex mental and physical health needs, typically arising from a brain injury or mental health diagnosis. With a focus on rehabilitation, the unit provides both long- and short-term placements, with the goal of moving to supported living or back home.

Horsforth Unit also has a bedroom with a ceiling hoist track for people with bariatric care needs.

- Middleton Unit provides dementia care for older adults whose needs cannot be met by mainstream care providers. Thoughtfully designed using the University of Stirling’s dementia-friendly guidelines, the unit promotes comfort, independence, and overall wellbeing.

- Roundhay Unit is a male-only environment supporting working-age adults with a primary mental health diagnosis or complex mental health needs arising from a brain injury or neuro-disability. With a strong focus on building independence, the unit provides the support needed to promote stability and progression.

Each unit features communal dining and living spaces, and personalised bedrooms.

The home also has an activities hub, beauty salon, multi-faith room, therapy room, and large accessible garden, encouraging social connections.
