Hi, my name is Bekky, and I am the General Manager here at Highfield. Welcome to our website!

Thank you for taking the time to look further into what Highfield has to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life.

I am responsible for running this beautiful, purpose-built home, and my passion is to provide an outstanding service for those that we support in a warm and pleasant environment.

I have worked for Barchester for over 6 years and was previously the Home Administrator for 2 years before being appointed to the role of General Manager at a sister home in March 2020. I am looking forward to working with the fabulous team here at the home and building great relationships in the local community.

Hi, my name is Caroline. I have over 30 years of experience working in care across the north of Scotland. I joined the Barchester family in 2020 as a senior carer, progressing into the role of care practitioner before transferring to Highfield as Team Leader and in December 2026 to the role I am now – Deputy Manager.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting both residents and their families. I am now looking forward to furthering my career in my role as Deputy Manager, where I aim to lead by example, support staff development and continue making a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of those we care for.

Hello, my name is Claire and I am Highfield's Administrator.

I joined the Barchester team in March 2024 and I am looking forward to meeting all of our residents.

I studied HR Management at Huddersfield University and have worked in administration since leaving school.

I have worked in care for over 5 years and there's no other role like it. Such a rewarding sector to be a part of, which helps working in such a great setting.

Barchester has won several awards for the outstanding service we provide, and rightfully so. I cannot wait to have the pleasure of contributing to these future awards.

I have chosen to work for Barchester because of the positive workplace environment, the beautiful scenery of Highfield Care Home and the high standards of care proven throughout their many homes.

Hello, my name is Judith and I am the Head Chef here at Highfield Care Home.

Originally I am from Cheshire and trained as a Chef firstly at Crewe College.

I have over 35 years' of catering experience in care and hospitality settings.

I have passion for creating good, traditional food whilst adapting to modern trends where appropriate.

I can't wait to provide outstanding meals to each residents' needs, wants and desires, presenting in a manner which is pleasing on the eye.

Hello, my name is Stacey. I am the Head Housekeeper here at Highfield Care Home.

I have over 10 years of experience working in care and over 2 years of experience in housekeeping.

I am a friendly person who likes to speak with the residents and get to know them and their interests. I enjoy knitting and bingo, which is something I would love to do with our residents.

I have chosen to work for Barchester as they are really supportive of keeping their residents' independence and their values at the core of their care which really resonates with me and how I like to work.

Hello my name is Imam, I am the Head of Maintenance here at Highfield Care Home.
I have worked in maintenance for over 10 years, I really enjoy helping the residents and ensuring they are safe. It doesn't matter whether you require something small to make your room feel more homely, or something larger I am happy to help.

We are delighted to introduce you to our Resident Ambassador, Pat, here at Highfield Care Home.

Pat is a valued member of our community, and we are thrilled to have her represent our residents.

As Resident Ambassador, Pat serves as a voice for fellow residents, communicating their wishes, suggestions and feedback to our staff members. Pat has also been supporting our General Manager, Luke, with interviewing candidates for roles within the Home.

Pat makes such a positive impact in our Care Home, and we are all thrilled she has taken up this role!!
