Starting his career in the NHS after qualifying as an electrician in 1992, Rich has spent most of his professional life in healthcare settings. From managing private hospital estates to overseeing facilities at the Houses of Parliament and later leading UK operations for a pharmaceutical R&D company, his career has been built on responsibility, precision, and care.
Following a personal turning point, Rich made the decision to return to the care sector—driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. At Waterhaven Place, he takes immense pride in ensuring that every part of the home is safe, comfortable, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff alike.

When he’s not making sure everything runs smoothly at Waterhaven Place, Jacco enjoys following his local team, Worthing FC, and co-hosts a monthly football podcast with two of his mates—a great way to unwind and share a few laughs.
