Hamilton Springs supports adults living with complex needs arising from brain injuries, mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities, dementia, and physical health conditions.

This purpose-built care home offers 37 spacious en-suite bedrooms across three small units, each with its own shared kitchen, dining area, lounge, and quiet space - fostering calm and consistent group living.

The building also includes communal areas - an activities hub with a therapy kitchen, dedicated therapy treatment room, beauty salon, sensory bathrooms, and a large accessible garden.

Unit layouts and communal zones are designed to offer choice, de-escalation spaces, and meaningful activity opportunities that reduce distress and support recovery.

The nurse-led team combines general, mental health, and therapy professionals trained in positive behaviour support to provide care for people who display behaviours of concern. The home supports individuals with high acuity needs, including those with co-morbid or secondary diagnoses, and histories of failed placements.

Care plans are truly person-centred and co-produced - people are encouraged to define their own routines, goals, and progress at their own pace. Whether someone is relearning daily living skills or maintaining hobbies and community links, support is flexible and tailored.

Hamilton Springs emphasises building therapeutic relationships and promoting autonomy. Using a biopsychosocial approach, the team - including the home manager with expertise in secure mental health settings - works to understand each person’s history, preferences, and triggers.

My daughter has been a resident at Hamilton Springs Care Home for a good while now. I am astounded at how quickly she has settled in but i feel that is down to the excellent care she has received from excellent staff. They know how to manage her however she presents. I cannot thank them enough and can
certainly recommend them to care for your loved ones.

During my father in laws illness we experienced a range of different care facilities and couldn't have asked for a better place than Hamilton Springs (other than home) for him to spend the remainder of his life. The carers were all welcoming and attentive when we visited and were always checking to
see all was well and my father in law was comfortable and hydrated. Any issues which arose during his stay were reported to us immediately. We were lucky that the staff caring for our loved one were first class. The family were so moved and impressed that 2 of the carers took their own time to attend the funeral.

Staff are warm, welcoming, very caring and friendly. Dad is always clean and in clean clothes. His room is always clean and tidy. His carer is always present.

Well what can I say!! My dad's being in Hamilton springs care for 6 months and he has very challenging mental health issues. The care he receives is second to none. The facilities are better than some hotels!


It's a new place and isn't perfect but the staff and managers are actively looking to get

things right.

Hamilton Springs is a modern and comfortable care home with lovely outdoor areas. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and really care about the residents, they always do their best to ensure they have a dignified and comfortable stay.

Exemplar Health Care has a reputation for delivering first-class, person-centred care, which is achieved by truly focusing on those using the service. I wanted to get back to focusing on the individual and making a positive difference in their lives, this is something that Exemplar Health Care is known for.
