Jess brings a strong background in administration across various sectors, including her role as a Reception Supervisor in a busy GP surgery in Aberdeenshire. Her experience in healthcare, combined with her time as a student nurse, gives her a deeper understanding of the care and support residents need at Potter House.
Originally from a rural village in Aberdeenshire, Jess relocated to Yeovil in April 2024 with her partner, who serves in the military. She has quickly become an integral part of the Potter House team, ensuring residents, families, and visitors feel welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her two beloved cats, Beef and Steve (both girls!), often taking them on camping adventures. She also has a passion for languages and has been self-studying Italian and Russian for several years, with aspirations of one day completing a degree in languages.
Lucas has over five years of hands-on experience in the care sector. His passion for supporting others started early—growing up helping family members with disabilities gave him a strong sense of empathy and purpose.
Lucas holds a foundation degree in Public Services and a bachelor’s degree in Health and Social Care. Lucas focuses on making sure residents are treated as individuals—encouraging their independence and giving them space to be themselves.
Originally from Weymouth, Dorset, Lucas brings a mix of personal experience, professional training, and a calm, caring approach to his work. Outside of care, he enjoys producing music, going to festivals, and spending time with friends and family.
Carol lives locally in Yeovil and enjoys walking to work each day. She’s a proud mum of three and grandmother to four, and her dedication and positive attitude have made her a valued member of our team since day one.
Having started with us as a housekeeper, Carol’s consistent hard work, attention to detail, and genuine care for both residents and colleagues led to her well-deserved promotion. She takes great pride in her work and loves being part of the Potter House family — a place she describes as beautiful, welcoming, and supportive.
With a great work-life balance and a fantastic team around her, Carol is looking forward to leading our housekeeping department with the same passion and commitment she’s always shown.
