I joined Barchester Healthcare with a wealth of experience in maintenance, engineering, and health and safety, and I am excited to be part of the team at Darcy Gardens. Throughout my career, I have developed a broad range of skills through running my own property maintenance business, leading maintenance teams within specialist dementia care settings, and building upon my engineering background.

My role is centred on ensuring that Darcy Gardens is maintained to the highest possible standards, providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and colleagues. I take great pride in creating a home where people can feel secure, supported, and truly at ease.

Originally from Poland, I bring with me a strong work ethic, a deep appreciation for community, and a genuine passion for supporting the well-being of others. Before joining Darcy Gardens, I spent 20 years working as a registered Physiotherapist within the NHS. After two decades in clinical practice, I was ready for a new challenge, but I knew I still wanted a role centred around people, dignity, and enhancing quality of life.

My background in physiotherapy has given me a strong understanding of mobility, safety, and the important role a well-maintained environment plays in supporting both physical and emotional well-being. I also have experience leading housekeeping teams, having managed housekeeping services across two primary schools in Bath. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to maintaining the highest standards while creating warm, welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable and cared for.

At Darcy Gardens, I take great pride in leading our housekeeping team and ensuring every area of our home reflects the comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail that residents deserve.
