Hello, my name is Samantha, and I am the General Manager here at Hazleton Gardens Care Home. I have worked in the care industry for over 20 years. I began my career as a Kitchen Assistant in a care home, where I quickly developed a passion for supporting people who require care and assistance. Inspired by the rewarding environment and the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives, I progressed into a Care Assistant role and steadily worked my way through the sector to become a General Manager.

Throughout my career, I have found caring for older people to be incredibly rewarding. Building meaningful relationships with residents and learning about their individual life experiences has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my role. I am passionate about ensuring every resident receives person-centred care that respects their dignity, individuality, and needs.

As a leader, I have also enjoyed developing and supporting teams to deliver exceptional care. Coaching and mentoring colleagues, helping them build confidence and watching them grow both professionally and personally has been a highlight of my management journey. Seeing team members progress in their careers and achieve their goals is something I take great pride in, and I remain committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Family is really important to me. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, going on holidays, and I love playing squash.

Hello, my name is Daisy, and I am the Administrator here at Hazleton Gardens. I have worked in the care industry for the past six years as an administrator across residential, dementia and nursing care communities.

I find working in care incredibly rewarding and take great pride in the relationships I build with residents, families and colleagues. Getting to know people from all walks of life is one of the aspects of my role that I enjoy most. I value the opportunity to make a positive difference to those around me, and I believe that taking time to listen, understand and connect with people is an important part of creating a warm and supportive environment.

Throughout my career, I have continued to develop both personally and professionally, learning something new from every person and experience along the way. I hope to bring that experience to my role in our wonderful new home. I am passionate about personal development and enjoy the variety that working within the care sector brings.

Before beginning my career in the care industry, I spent time travelling around Southeast Asia. This was a hugely formative experience that helped me to grow in confidence, independence and understanding of different cultures and perspectives. Meeting so many new people and experiencing different ways of life has continued to influence the way I approach both my work and my relationships with others.

I feel incredibly proud of the journey I have taken so far and look forward to continuing to learn, develop and make a positive contribution within our home alongside my team.

Hello, my name is Jack, and I am the Home Services Advisor at Hazleton Gardens. Having built my career within customer service, hospitality, sales and retail management, I am excited to bring my experience into the care sector. My background has always been people-focused, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences, building lasting relationships, and supporting individuals with compassion and care.

I enjoy helping individuals and families explore care options, ensuring they feel informed, reassured, and confident in making the right decision. Building strong community connections and making a positive difference in the lives of residents and their loved ones is something I am truly passionate about.

Outside of work, I am an active member of a local theatre group, performing in pantomimes and summer productions that raise money for local charities and community projects. For over 15 years, I have enjoyed entertaining audiences, bringing people together, and supporting good causes through theatre.
