Meet the Team (2)

Cheryl has worked in social care since 1999, beginning her career as a housekeeper within the local authority and progressing through various roles to become a manager.
She later moved into the independent sector, working for Bupa and Care UK, where she was involved in commissioning a nursing home. She then moved to Lincolnshire, commissioning a care home for Tanglewood before progressing to Regional Manager.
With a passion for commissioning homes and providing high-quality care in beautiful surroundings, Cheryl was delighted when the opportunity to join Chantrey Fields arose. She believes that moving into a care home should be the beginning of a new chapter, where people can continue to enjoy life, have fun and make wonderful memories. Her philosophy is simple: life is for living, so let’s live it well!
Outside of work, Cheryl has been married for 31 years and has two adult children and two grandsons. She enjoys motorcycle riding, classic cars, travelling and, more recently, attending music concerts with her family.

Customer Relations Manager
Gemma has a wealth of experience in customer service, guest relations and building meaningful relationships. Having spent the last five years in a fast-paced hospitality environment, she has developed a strong passion for understanding people’s individual needs and creating experiences that make people feel valued, welcomed and cared for.
She believes that great relationships are built on trust, empathy and genuine connection, and she is passionate about bringing people together. Gemma is looking forward to creating strong links between Chantrey Fields and the local Market Rasen community.
Outside of work, Gemma enjoys photography and exploring the local Lincolnshire area with her family. She is also very much the “planner” in the family and believes it’s important to always have things to look forward to.
