Meet the Team (1)

Paula started working in care, after caring for her terminally ill son. She learnt lots of skills in order to provide his care, and wanted to put these skills to use.
She started as a carer in 2014, working with children with severe complex health needs and worked her way up to senior carer before completing her Assistant Practitioner qualification at Chester University.
From 2019 until 2023 she worked at a medium secure, forensic mental health hospital before returning to EAM Lodge as an Operational Manager where in 2024 she took on the Registered Manager role.
Paula is passionate about her role and providing the residents with a happy fulfilled life and a wonderful home to live in.
