I have found the staff at Regal unit to be knowledgeable in all mums needs, evidence of person centred care in both communication & demonstrated by staff on a consistent basis. Staff are approachable & always supportive in answering any of my concerns. I have observed mums interaction with staff to be hartwarming & reasuring. Mum is well cared for & staff know her personality & abilities I have not had much dealing with manager but the care home is well run & friendly.
Thank you again.

Visit my sister regularly, shes always well taken care of, staff are available & easy to chat to. My sister appears well kept & engages in lots of activities staff know who I am, and are always happy to see me. I would recommend the Caledonia Care Home which appears well run, healthy food options & lot of social activities.
Thank you for your kind words and I am happy to hear that you feel your sister is well looked after and that you feel comfortable with the management and staff.

Would be helpful if someone could make sure the patient is upright at mealtimes. Staff helpful. Do their best.
I am delighted with the quality of care provided to my dad. Staff are very caring and professional. Nothing is too much bother for them if you ask for something. There are many varied activities organised for residents with something to suit everyone. I would recommend Caledonia Care Home to others.
My family member has a lovely bright room and enjoys the window view. Great to have a familiar care team and named nurse on each shift to promote individual care and make us feel valued and included re care needs. Good to have the opportunity to meet other residents and relatives for a little bit of peer support and recent new activities and new menu well received. The personal touch make a big difference to mental wellbeing, such as time for informal chats with care staff, hairdresser, housekeepers etc Appreciation and Thanks for the ongoing commitment and hard work from management and the whole staff team.
My mum was a resident of Caledonia for 3 years. During her time there I found the staff of Lascalla wing were nothing short of amazing, mum was looked after with such care, and affection, she was very happy. I was delighted with the home, always clean and tidy, and all the staff I had dealings with were an absolute delight, i couldn't have be happier with her care. I sing their praises at every opportunity. A huge big thank you to all the staff.
In the eight years that Mum was in Caledonia Care Home we, as a family, have nothing but praise and thanks for the care, love and attention shown to her. All the staff went out of their way to accommodate Mum's needs and make Caledonia feel like home for her.
Thank you all for everything you did for Mum.
He settled in quite quickly and sees it as his home. He has had various medical issues which have been dealt with promptly and effectively by staff.
The staff are wonderful. They are always attentive and caring to all residents. They also keep me informed if he has any issues.
The biggest compliment I can give is that as his former Carer, I realise they care for him better than I could. Therefore I can sleep at night.
My husband has dementia since going into the care home he is slowly regaining the strength in his legs and is now able to feed himself. The staff are very hands-on very caring and willing to do anything to help him.
Staff are kind, supportive and helpful in all ways. Residents are clean, well-fed and all health issues attended to. I am always well informed of any problems with health etc.
My late grandfather stayed here for the last 18 months of his life and I could not have wished for him to have better care than he did at Caledonia Care Home. The staff really could not have done more for him and in his latter weeks, went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable.
I can’t recommend this care home enough for anyone considering settling either themselves or a loved one there.
The care my mother-in-law receives in Caledonia Care Home is exceptional. I cannot praise the home, staff and management enough. I always recommend Caledonia Care Home to anyone who is looking for a care home for a relative without hesitation.
Caledonia Care Home is a fantastic residential home. The home has outstanding and well-trained staff who care for my mother in every situation. All of the staff work as a team from maintenance, cleaning, catering, care and nursing staff, through to management, to provide exceptional care. All staff have knowledge of my mother and her needs and support her day and night. Caledonia Care Home is well managed and kept in exceptional condition, clean, tidy and safe. The home has excellent facilities such as a hairdresser, residents' tea room, TV room, memory room and there is a high quality and comprehensive entertainment and activity programme. The staff support us by phone, regular updates and through formal reviews. It is without hesitation that I would thoroughly recommend Caledonia Care Home as a safe, welcoming and high-quality caring environment.
Caledonia Care Home puts my mums needs first, that staff are compassionate and professional and patiently worked with mum and her (initially) challenging behaviour to settle her into her new home. The care home is always clean, it is modern with different units beautifully decorated and bright. The care is not regimented and based upon residents needs and desires. Residents can choose to stay in their rooms or eat and socialise in communal areas. There is always a nurse available for each unit that houses 12 residents. Cannot rate it more highly.
My husband has dementia and has been in the care home for a couple of years. He is treated with respect and dignity by the kind and caring staff. The care home meets his needs really well. There are lots of different seating areas in the lengthy corridors and residents wander at will. These areas are different to each other giving a feeling of visiting different places. My husband was a walker and the long corridors allow him the freedom to do so. There is a country café, a pub, a quiet room with comfy armchairs and a "cinema" with a big screen to watch DVDs - all available for residents and their visitors. There is plenty of live entertainment, music and dancing, lots of activities, visits from school children and animals, choirs at Christmas. There is always something happening which residents don't have to attend but are encouraged and supported if they do want to participate. My husband always looks clean and tidy and all his personal needs are taken care of efficiently.
