My Father receives excellent care and support and everyone I have dealt with has been extremely helpful. Communications with the staff is always quick and detailed. I am pleased that my Father is happy and safe and I would not hesitate to recommend Seagrave House.

I felt very welcome when visiting a relative at Seagrove and noticed all staff had smiles on their faces and were very approachable. My relative is delighted with his room and the care, food and facilities provided.

Overall the home, the staff and the care is excellent. The patience displayed by the staff is noteworthy and the facilities are first class. Of minor concern is there is often an odour, automatic air fresheners could help. Also, there is little control over residents walking into other peoples rooms uninvited. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with the service and care offered by Seagrave House Care Home. As far as the organisation as a whole is concerned I believe the price increase/annum should be kept to the rate of inflation paying residents should not subsidise council residents and additional charges kept to a minimum.

Having been through a difficult time finding out dad needed constant care, we were lucky in finding Seagrave. The facilities are good, but all the staff are fantastic. Myself and my sister are happy to know dad is in safe hands.

The service received has been excellent, from the point of asking to look around and timescales in respect of my father being assessed and accommodated. During his first week, he was unwell and the care received by night staff was second to none in my father's words.

I have not met anyone who is not fantastic. Dad is very special and I have every confidence he is happy and very well cared for.

Overall the staff and management at Seagrave provide a friendly, comfortable and safe environment.
The staff are approachable and treat my wife with dignity and respect, she feels more like a family member than a resident.

Having a management team that is not only visible, but always available to listen to and discuss any concerns that may arise is a welcome bonus, an asset to the day to day running of Seagrave.

We visit our friend on a regular basis, and always find the staff very friendly and welcoming, the home is very tastefully decorated, the housekeeping is kept to a very high standard, and we are extremely pleased with the level of care our friend receives. There are always activities going on to keep the residents occupied, which is lovely for them, they are so well looked after, it is always a pleasure to visit Seagrave House.

Mum has been in Ii for three years now and the family could not be happier for mum as the staff are wonderful and caring. Don't think she could be happier anywhere else. There is always a lovely friendly atmosphere in the home when you go in. Very welcoming. It seems to be kept at a high standard of cleanliness and the decor is lovely. Also with the coffee, tea etc in the reception area is very nice and a thoughtful extra, also the cakes !!

My mother has been a resident of Seagrave since July 2007. She has advanced dementia and associated conditions. She has had wonderful care in the later stages of her condition and despite constant visits to KGH always seems most at ease when back at Seagrave. Both myself and my father (at 91) are always made welcome and nothing is to much trouble for the staff and they go out of their way to make him feel part of the home on his frequent visits.

Lovely clean home, staff mostly friendly and courteous. The staff seem to be short on the ground sometimes. On my last visit a resident said she had been waiting for a cup of tea for along time, after saying she felt sick. It's quite expensive to stay but seems to be lacking in certain aspects. Realising it must be difficult to please all people at all times.

My mother had lived at Seagrave House for over 4 years. She is treated like family by all the staff. Her needs have been continually reviewed during this time and modified as her condition has changed. The staff and management are very approachable and responsive to requests, the managers have an open door policy allowing our family to raise any issues that concerns us. This has led to speedy reaction to changing needs. We as a family are always welcome, we feel part of mums extended family in the home. Being a purpose built building the facilities are very good.
