Seagrave House complements Glenmoor House, which is another Avery home in Corby, which has joint excursions arranged.

Three floors offer residential care as well as dementia and respite care.

The top floor is devoted to private residential suites with kitchenettes.

The home offers a shared care experience with companion suites, designed for couples, siblings or friends seeking a caring and supportive environment together.

There is a secluded rear garden and a friendly bowling club next door. Seagrave has plenty of cosy lounge areas perfect for socialising including a cinema room and a hair salon open to residents daily.

Relationships across the generations are encouraged and grandchildren are welcome to join their parents on visits. Families are encouraged to be involved in decision-making for the home.

Strong ties with the local communities have been made and local entertainers and speakers are frequent visitors.

The chefs make the meals as fresh as possible, can cater for all dietary requirements and enjoy cooking for special occasions.

Seagrave House is a lovely place to visit, the residents are always happy and the staff are very helpful. Seagrave House has a great Activities program and the residents are encouraged to join in creating a very pleasant atmosphere.

My mother has been a resident of Seagrave since July 2007. She has advanced dementia and associated conditions. She has had wonderful care in the later stages of her condition and despite constant visits to KGH always seems most at ease when back at Seagrave. Both myself and my father (at 91) are always
made welcome and nothing is to much trouble for the staff and they go out of their way to make him feel part of the home on his frequent visits.

Lovely clean home, staff mostly friendly and courteous. The staff seem to be short on the ground sometimes. On my last visit a resident said she had been waiting for a cup of tea for along time, after saying she felt sick. It's quite expensive to stay but seems to be lacking in certain aspects. Realising
it must be difficult to please all people at all times.

My mother had lived at Seagrave House for over 4 years. She is treated like family by all the staff. Her needs have been continually reviewed during this time and modified as her condition has changed. The staff and management are very approachable and responsive to requests, the managers have an open
door policy allowing our family to raise any issues that concerns us. This has led to speedy reaction to changing needs. We as a family are always welcome, we feel part of mums extended family in the home. Being a purpose built building the facilities are very good.
