Southborough Home in Chelmsford opened as a residential home registered for ten older residents.

The Home has been completely refurbished, with all rooms being en-suite, and has a spacious garden. It also benefits from being close to the town centre, with all of its excellent amenities, such as cinema, theatre, bowling, swimming, ice-rink, parks and shopping centres. All staff have been carefully selected and trained to a high standard to assist the residents to achieve their full potential.

It is their aim to help service users lead happy dignified lives, and to become and remain as self reliant and independent as possible.

My mother was admitted to Southborough following a series of falls, hospitalisation and was then unable to cope at home. Southborough have made her very welcome and she is happy there. The home is immaculately clean, food all home cooked with excellent choices at all meal times. Her room is lovely,
with en-suite. They even provided a special air mattress to make her more comfortable. Staff are so friendly, informative and caring - can't do enough to help.We are so pleased we decided to place her at Southborough.She is so well looked after and in safe capable hands. We would not hesitate to recommend this to future residents and their families.
