I was only visiting for just over half an hour and in that time 3 very helpful staff members helped and assisted us. The response time was impressive and nothing seemed too much trouble. It was after lunch and all residents appeared very content and restful. It looked like a lovely atmosphere to maintain.

Everything seemed nice and clean inside, smells nice. My mother said food was very nice, cups of tea whenever she wanted. If ever she was up in the night there was always someone there to see to her needs and help and assist her. Everyone was nice and friendly, my mother said she would definitely return. Plenty of activities to do, icing buns, Easter bonnets etc...

Temple Manor is always welcoming with extremely pleasant, professional staff. A cuppa is always on offer and according to my parents in law the food is "brilliant". Management are always on hand to answer any queries and requests dealt with promptly. It is a pleasure to visit such a clean smelling care home.

My father came here having broken his right wrist in a fall at home. The staff were wonderful with him and did everything they could to encourage him to be as independent as possible. He really liked all the staff and was full of praise for them. Unfortunately at 95 the fall took its toll and he died after a shore illness. We are so grateful to everyone for making the last weeks of his life so comfortable and would recommend them to any family looking for respite or long term care.

John Reader
John ReaderJob Title:Company Director/Registered ManagerJoined: 2009

I have worked at Temple Manor Care Home since early 2009 and was very much involved in the refurbishment, interior design of rooms, choosing colour schemes and the general structure of the building.

Since we have opened I've learnt many things, gained trust from service users and relatives and achieved the statement of "Bringing care back into caring".

With our current rating at 9.7 within the area I like to believe I am currently part of one if not the best care home in the area.

I am the Registered Manager of Temple Manor Care Home, but its the highly dedicated staff that make this care home what it is, we are a dedicated team and in my opinion are delivering the best care in the area.

I'm fully trained in all aspects of care work and I have recently finished my level 5 NVQ diploma in Health & Social care.

I like to class myself as a very dedicated, kind, and respectful member of staff, available 24hrs a day to assist with any queries and support my staff to the maximum of my capability.
