Picktree Court is ideally located in the Town Centre of Chester-le-Street within easy reach of car, bus and rail transport routes, and a few minutes walking distance from the main shopping areas with its many cafés, banks, and amenities. Picktree Court has its own well maintained gardens which can be accessed by residents and is also adjacent to the beautiful park areas and river walks surrounding Lumley Castle.

Picktree Court is a purpose built, luxuriously appointed facility providing care to residents with general residential care needs, dementia residential care needs and also general nursing care needs. The Home is able to provide long term care and also short term respite care.

The Home is equipped with light and airy corridors, multiple lounges, dining areas along with dedicated hairdressing salon. All ensuite bedrooms are tastefully designed and benefit from full ensuite wet room facilities, to enable residents to maximise the independence. Every room has the ability to access the guest Wi-Fi network, SKY TV should you wish, and all bedrooms can be setup to have private telephone access.

The Home has large garden areas, which are designed with raised flower beds and level access walkways.

The Home has a stable Management team with an excellent staff team with multiple activities coordinator's who are there to encourage residents with social engagement and stimulation.

Picktree Court is an integral part of the local community and continues to promote positive links with local schools, shops and Churches. The Home ensures that residents can continue to access on site hairdressing services , visiting chiropody treatments and dental care thru visiting professionals.

The Home provides freshly, home cooked and nutritionally balanced menus with multiple choices per meal, all being prepared on site by the Homes outstanding catering teams.

Picktree Court understand how important it is for residents to receive visitors and as such they will do as much as they are able to support meaningful visits.
    For any care enquiry, Picktree Court would be happy to provide a tour of their Home without appointment. This tour would provide a basic view of the Home and their facilities.
    For a more in-depth tour, families are guided to make contact with the Home Manager, who can schedule a suitable time for a visit and will be able to discuss Home availability, fees and much more.

Parking

  • Picktree Court has their own private car park where visitors can park within the Homes grounds without charge. Parking is available at the front of the Home and the Home is then accessed via a wheelchair friendly access route.
