The care and consideration given to my father in law over the last six years and the attention to detail of all his little quirks is exceptional. He was very happy in his last years as he worked very hard in all weathers outside. Thanks so very much.
It was our privilege to care for your father-in-law over the last six years. He was a wonderful man, and getting to know his personality, his quirks, was a joy for our entire team. Knowing he was happy here means everything to us.
We're...
The experience has been great. Dad is always being looked after and all his needs met. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating.
My ad has been a resident in Charnwood House for a couple of years now and has been very well looked after. The manager/staff keep us informed on regular progress. He is warm & well fed, the staff are friendly & welcoming. I would recommend this home and have done to a friend for their parents.
The staff are loving and caring looking after my 100 year old mum with dignity and respect.
My mum's life has now ended & I cannot thank all concerned enough for their care of mum & the consideration given to the family.
We are grateful to have been able to care for her and appreciate your kind kind words. The teams compassion and support are a testment to their dedication. If there is anything we can do to support you, please dont hesitate to reach out and please accept our condolences.
Excellent
Thank you very much for valuable support and assistance. We will continue to improve our services and will revisit all the areas where there are shortfalls to ensure all our service users are fully happy and well looked after in our care.
We always find the staff extremely helpful and kind. We believe Lawrence is looked after very well considering his condition. We would like to thank the management and staff for treating Larence with dignity. Overall we think Lawrence is safe and secure in this home.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your valuable support and feedback in shaping up your loved ones' care.
Mother is not happy about being left on her own for so long each day but given basic care when required. Being treated with end of life care with basic medication. Offered pain relief but refuses. Very isolated at the front of the building but because she is on 'end of life' she isn't offered any physio or helped to stand or exercise.
Thank you for submitting the feedback. We are sorry that you felt this way. All the issues have been discussed and rectified by the home manager; you also have direct access to see the daily activities. The manager also explained about the OT referral, which is already made. We take all feedback...
The staff here were so caring and accommodating to our relative. Nothing was too much effort. They made sure he had everything he needed. We were constantly informed about all updates. We cannot say a bad word about the care our relative had.
Thank you for your wonderful review. We are grateful for your trust in us and appreciate your kind words about our team. We are committed to providing exceptional care and support. If there is anything we can improve on or if there is anything that we can improve on or if you need anything please dont hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for your review.
Found the service of caring for Mum to the end, very dignified & proffesional. Very happy she ended her day at Charnwood. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words and trusting us to care for your mum. We are honored to have been able to provide her with dignified and professional care, and we are glad she was comfortable in her final days at Charnwood. Your support means a lot to us.
My sister has passed a few days ago after a stay if about 5 years at Charnwood House Nursing Home. I have always found the staff to be friendly, courteous and helpful. My sister had mental health issues and the excellent accommodation was a real comfort. I am happy she was able to have such a high level of support.
A caring personal home, where management and staff get to know the resident and their family. Whilst some of the decor/furniture is not modern, the rooms were immaculately clean and freshly painted. Most importantly, dad's comfort and medical care was clearly paramount to all. We cannot thank them enough and would highly recommend.
Thank you for your feedback. As you can see, the home improvement works are going on, and we will definitely take your opinion into consideration.
My brother could not wish for better care at Charnwood House. My brother always looks healthy and clean, always clean clothes on each day and shaved. Food good enjoys. All the staff are very caring and chat to the residents. Patrick seems to have settled in and happy.
I wish I could walk more, I feel frustrated I need help.
I like the food, breakfast is my favourite.
I like the people who look after me.
I feel safe here.
All staff are friendly and helpful and the care home is clean and tidy. Lovely to be able to talk any problems through and know you are listed too. We like the extra touch of the calendar clocks, which are really helpful.
The care dad has received has been absolutely fantastic and continues to be. He is in very good hands. We, as a family, feel like he is being taken care of wonderfully.
I have found the care etc. towards my elderly mum has been very good and I am very pleased with the way she is being treated and cared for.
Staff at Charnwood were very friendly and supportive. Very helpful and welcoming. Looked after my mum's needs and kept me updated.
Staff are very friendly and are happy to answer any questions we have. My mum is very well looked after and seems very happy here. We are happy with how mum is being cared for. The food Mum has is very good she seems to eat most of it. Staff always make sure mum has a drink etc.
My mum went to Charnwood Nursing Home in 2020 with Dementia. Unfortunately, she passed away in December 2023. In all the time she was there The manager and all the carers were always approachable and nothing short of amazing. On a few occasions, we would go in and ask if we could see her room and were shown up immediately without hesitation. She was always clean and obviously cared for. Mum although having dementia was often full of life. Often laughing and chatting to the carers. She was happy in her world. When she passed away all the carers were in genuine tears. Personally, I cannot fault her care and once again like to say a big thank you to everyone there.
