Charnwood House Nursing Home

My mum went to Charnwood Nursing Home in 2020 with Dementia. Unfortunately, she passed away in December 2023. In all the time she was there The manager and all the carers were always approachable and nothing short of amazing. On a few occasions, we would go in and ask if we could see her room and were shown up immediately without hesitation. She was always clean and obviously cared for. Mum although having dementia was often full of life. Often laughing and chatting to the carers. She was happy in her world. When she passed away all the carers were in genuine tears. Personally, I cannot fault her care and once again like to say a big thank you to everyone there.

My father went to Charnwood House Nursing Home for 4 weeks to give me respite for myself I was a little apprehensive at first because it looks a little untidy from the outside but the owners are doing a lot of improvements on the property, I will admit that the owner and all the staff are absolutely marvellous people and so friendly. My father has had a wonderful time at Charnwood House Nursing Home and wants to go back, they are very warm people and very understanding the residents are well cared for my father has said the food is excellent and the support and care is fantastic overall they deserve a 10 Star rating. Thank you to all at Charnwood House Nursing Home for taking such good care of my father.
