My husband was a resident at Warrington Lodge for just over two years until his death last Wednesday. Though out his time living there the staff have been first rate. They could not have been kinder, more thoughtful or more efficient. My husband was not the easiest of residents but the staff went out of their way to look after him and to care for him. My husband was always treated with dignity. They were in constant touch with me and always available to discuss his care. They also showed my daughter and I an enormous amount of kindness especially during his final days. I cannot recommend this dementia home and its staff more highly.
Thank you for taking the time to send a review, your kind words will be shared with the staff at Warrington Lodge. I am pleased that you were happy with the care provided and felt supported by our staff.

My Aunty died at Claremont age 97 on the 29th March 2026. Due to increasing frailty and advanced dementia she had been a resident for the last 6 years. I visited her regularly and observed the care she received. I always felt that the care was person centered and she was treated with respect. I didn't see the activities provided apart from a singalong and visiting her on Christmas day.
On two occasions i called staff to her room when i visited and found her uncomfortable in a wet incontinence pad the staff attended within minutes of my ringing the call bell and attended to her immediately. I don't know how long he had been in a wet pad it may only have been a short time. On one occasion she fell out of bed a bruised her eye medical intervention was sought and she was provided with pressure mat and low level bed to reduce risk of this happening gain. The home always rang me to keep me fully updated and I was confident they fully monitored needs.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, your kind words are very much appreciated and will be shared with the team. Your Aunty was an absolute pleasure to care for and is greatly missed.

Mum was a resident in Warrington Lodge for 3 years before she recently passed away. There was not a single moment when we as a family were not profoundly grateful to this wonderful team of people who cared for her with such love, respect and compassion. We wouldn't have thought it possible that someone with advanced dementia could end their days so very content, comfortable and beautifully looked after! Each member of the team knew her well, a wonderful thing as her ability to communicate was impaired. The kitchen team ensured that she had interesting and appetising food, even though it was puréed. The laundry team ensured that her clothing and bed linen were clean and sweet each day, while the cleaning team kept communal rooms and her personal space spotless. In the days leading up to her death we as a family were wrapped up in a warm hug of care with all our immediate concerns seen to. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home to families considering care for their loved ones.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. I am pleased to hear that you were happy with the care provided for your mum. Your kind feedback will be shared with all staff, who will fully appreciate your thoughtful comments.

I would describe the rooms and facilities as simple but you need to look beyond this aspect as where the home really excels is the clearly demonstrated commitment to care across the whole team. I would highly recommend viewing for long term or short term care

When we, as a family, had to make the difficult and sad decision to place our Mother in Residential Care, it was challenging to know where to start looking. Our first visit was to Claremont; we quickly felt that we did not need to look elsewhere. Claremont is a welcoming, period home set in beautiful countryside, with a large walled English garden. The rooms are bright, fully equipped and cosy - residents can customise as they desire. Organised activities on offer are excellent, with something for all. We have found each and every member of the staff team to be totally professional, courteous, extremely hard working and cheery also. The individual care is very personable and we are kept informed of all detail. After initial re-adjustment, Mum is now settled, comfortable and happy. We are so very glad we found Claremont and would highly recommend viewing.
Thank you for taking the time to send a review, your kind words are very much appreciated and will be shared with our staff. I am pleased your mother has settled well into Claremont and also glad that you are happy with the home too. Your mother is a pleasure to care for. Best wishes
I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They are kind, patient, friendly and caring and always go above and beyond for all of the residents in the home. Mum was always treated with so much respect and dignity.
The care they provided to mum at the end of her life was absolutely heartening, and they always looked after me very well whenever I visited. I cannot thank everyone enough.

This care that Mum received could not have been better for the last ten years of her 103-year life. Everyone was always considerate of her and of us visiting family.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review and for your kind words, I am glad you and your family were happy with the care. I will make sure the staff are made aware. Your mum was a pleasure to care for and is greatly missed.
I was very reluctant to make the decision to move my mum into a care home, but due to her mental and physical restrictions following a fall, I had no option but to do so. I chose Warrington Lodge as a friend had recommended but also because it was very close to home so we could visit regularly. Unfortunately Mum passed away just a few days ago but I feel keen to write a review to express just how incredible the staff and care have been whilst Mum was a resident. At all times she was treated with love and respect by every single staff member and nothing was ever too much trouble. My expectations of a care home were exceeded and the dedication to making Mum as comfortable and happy as possible was truly exceptional. I cannot thank you all enough for making both Mum's life and mine as good as it could possibly have been under the circumstances.
Dear Vanessa, thank you for taking the time to write a review at such a sad time for you. Your kind words will be shared with the staff at Warrington Lodge, as I know they will feel appreciated. Thanks again. Take care, Director.
Just over a year ago, we moved Mum from a home in Bucks, so she could be closer to her family. The atmosphere at Warrington Lodge is always happy and calm - this reflects in the mood of residents and the staff always work efficiently as a team to care professionally and maintain excellent standards as they take genuine interest in their work. As a consequence, we consider Mum to be extremely well looked after and she is always happy and content.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review, your kind words are very much appreciated and will be shared with the staff at Warrington Lodge. Thanks again.
It was a great comfort to me and my family that my mother received exemplary care and treatment during her period residence. All members of management and staff I encountered, either during visits or over the telephone, were extremely caring, professional and supportive and I have no hesitation in recommending this home in the strongest of terms.
Many thanks.
The care home is very professionally run to an extremely high standard. I found them to be caring, compassionate and most importantly, open and honest in all aspects of the care provided. Dad was very happy there. He loved the light and airy building and enjoyed the lounges and watching the big TV. There were regular activities which he was encouraged to join in. He didn't always want to, but it was good to know that they were available on a regular basis. They also had entertainers come in.
The staff took a real interest in him as a person. He was very much into old films and his music. It was the little thoughtful touches and wonderful caring staff that made Warrington Lodge special. Thank you to everyone who looked after him. You do an amazing job and I will always be grateful for the care you provided and the ongoing support you also gave to me.
Take care
Jan
We have found as a family that dad is very happy and comfortable here. We are very satisfied with how he is being looked after and cared for as they are his family and that is how they view him. We have felt very reassured by the attention that he is given and after certain reservations initially we are happy for him to be there.
Thank you for taking the time to send in a review, your kind words are very much appreciated. I will share your review and appreciation with them too. Many thanks
Warrington Care Home is beautifully managed, run, and maintained by an army of fabulous hard-working staff. It is kept immaculate with lovely rooms and beautiful gardens. The food is great and wholesome with a varied menu. I know my dad is very well cared for. It was a hard decision to place my dad in a care setting as he loved his home but due to deteriorating health it was the right one and he has settled well and the peace of mind I now have is immeasurable.
My dad has been a resident since going in for respite care in July 2023. He is now a permanent resident and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They are patient and kind, and nothing is too much trouble. The head of care and her team keep us very well informed of any concerns they have and how Dad is getting on. The food is delicious and Dad has gained weight and is looking so much better since being in residence. The rooms are lovely and well maintained. I cannot recommend the home highly enough.
Dear Penny. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am pleased your dad has settled well into our home and enjoying his meals. Thank you for your kind words, I will pass on your review to the team. Thanks again.
My mum has been living here for 7 months now and every day we know it is the right place for her. It is a place she feels happy and safe. From the moment we first visited, the warmth and care have been exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. Mum enjoys the time spent with other residents and the carers, and the activities put on are lovely - she always has lots to say when we visit! It is like a family and she feels so at home there. We will be forever grateful that she chose this as her home.
Your review will be shared with our staff, who will appreciate your kind words.
Kind regards.
I cannot praise the staff enough for the care and kindness mum received during her recent respite stay. This was mum's first experience of in-house care and she was very anxious. Happily this fear of future respite/long-term care has been dissipated thanks to the team. They were caring and professional, and obviously formed a stable and established team. Mum enjoyed the food, environment and services such as the hairdresser. Mum had a serious issue with her power chair which was dealt with quickly and efficiently ensuring she regained her mobility with minimum delay. I obviously have no hesitation in recommending this home.
Warrington Lodge Care Home is a very friendly, well-managed care home for dementia residents. My dad has been here since April 2022 and he has gradually settled into his new surroundings really well. The direct care staff here are excellent. There is no doubt they fully understand the difficult time dementia residents are suffering constantly and they treat the patients with dignity and respect. Without these carers, life would have been unbearable for our family so a very big thank you to the carers and all the support staff and management who do such wonderful work looking after all the residents, including my lovely dad. You should all be immensely proud of the work you do for the families and the wider community.
