I was a resident at Askham Court for twelve weeks. I arrived unable to walk and was using a Sara Steady and left able to walk on my own. The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly and helped me cope with a very difficult time in my life. The accommodation was excellent as was the food, most of the time. There was a pleasant ambience each day. The Physiotherapy staff were excellent as were the Occupational Therapy staff, giving me wonderful encouragement, yet pushing me that little bit further at each visit.
