My father was fortunate to be a resident of Abundant Grace at the end of his life. He enjoyed being in A.G. and received the best care and attention, which they extended to me. I have nothing but the highest praise for the staff.

A very caring, attentive and loving situation for our darling Mum to live in aged 96 with Dementia. At all times of day and night the staff know where she is and how she is. From Reception to Nursing, to Kitchen and Garden, all areas are so well run. The activity area is really a highlight and a joy with a creative loving team. All round, wonderful caring staff

My mum has been at Abundant Grace for over 18 months and whilst the transition was challenging for her, everything has been handled incredibly well. I take a lot of comfort from knowing that Mum is safe, cared for incredibly well and always has people around her. All of yhe staff are friendly, warm and approachable from the minute you walk in and the patience they demonstrate is admirable. The food is great and varied. The activities team are wonderful and the nurses and management have been very helpful in discussing things as they have come up. Under incredibly difficult circumstances, the whole move to Abundant Grace has been brilliant and I can't thank the team enough.

My Dad has been cared for at Abundant Grace for over 2 years. Before that, his dementia was accelerating, but he has been content, relaxed and calm since he moved in. The staff are friendly and welcoming to residents and guests alike. Dad always looks pleased to see them. The atmosphere is quiet and respectful and the other residents seem settled and busy with activities. Dad chooses not to take part in activities, but is consulted about sitting close by to observe, and the staff engage him in conversation, and patiently wait for his brief responses.
It is easy to talk to a nurse about Dad's care, and the home keeps in touch. Small things are helpful: if I get a phone call and it's not urgent, the nurse will start by saying 'Nothing to worry about...'. And when it was urgent, they were very calm and reassuring.

It's very clean indeed, visitors can make their own refreshments, the garden is a lovely place to sit and I always feel that the staff are looking out for me as well as Dad.

My mum has been in Abundant Grace Nursing Home for 2yrs 9 mths and will be 100 in November. I don't live locally now but visit three times a year. Every since my mum has been here I have never had any worries about her, I feel she is looked after extremely well with dignity and kindness. Activities are offered to those who wish to take part ensuring residents are not just left in their rooms. I think the staff are lovely, they always recognised me and know who I have come to visit and are very hard working. The two receptionists are the first point of contact for the home and both are very approachable, professional and do an excellent job.

Abundant Grace has provided an excellent environment for my mum. I see her happy, safe and engaged with activities. She has Alzheimer's & Vascular Dementia. When she arrived 2 years ago her behaviour was very challenging. The support & kindness shown by staff meant she was able to settle and relax. I trust this care home very much. I did not have such a positive experience with a previous establishment.

My mum has been living at Abundant Grace since March 2025. Its been a big transition for her and us all as prior to this she living at home with minimal formal support. The staff , the physical enviroment and the ethos of abundant grace has made this period of her life much easier and more comforyable than she or her family could have imagined. I cannot praise the home highly enough

Resident (95) has settled so well since she transferred here a couple of years ago. She is so well cared for it has given her a new lease of life. Today she was very chatty and clearly the staff has affection for her. She still demonstrates impeccable social skills even though she is dependent for almost everything. She was dressed well, her room clean and tidy.

Reception ladies are always friendly and welcoming. The carers who look after Mum are amazing. They are so kind and patient. The way the building is designed is perfect for dementia residents. Sometimes, I can spend ages just walking round and round with Mum, and she is happy and safe. My only comment would be to advise families about facilities such as kitchen/tea-making area, as I found out by mistake after 2 years! No one had told me!

The care at Abundant Grace is extremely kind and consistent. The nurses and care assistants go out of their way to ensure each resident feels listened to, is safe and receives personally-tailored care.

The atmosphere is always calm and welcoming, and my uncle has developed a trusting rapport with all the staff. As a family, we feel confident that he is in the right place, not just from a practical point of view but from an emotional one. Care here is caring. Thank you.

This is a lovely home set in well cared for grounds. The staff are always welcoming and the residents are well cared for. We feel lucky to have found such a nice home when my mother needed care that we were unable to provide for her in her own home.

Overall Experience

As a 23-year-old who requires care and sometimes having to go to respite, I am always nervous about going somewhere new. I had a two-week respite stay at Abundant Grace, and as soon as I met the staff, my anxiety went away. Everyone was so friendly and so helpful. The staff helped me settle in and unpack. My medication, which is quite important for managing my conditions, was always given on time by the lovely nurses. I can't praise the carers and nurses enough. During the night, there is always carers on hand when I require assistance. My only slight issue was always feeling during the day like a little bit of a pain when asking for things as the staff were always so busy, but I was never made to feel like this, just a personal feeling. The home is very clean and tidy, the housekeeping staff are attentive to cleaning the bedrooms and communal areas every day of the week. It would have been nice for the manager to pop by and say hello and introduce himself, but this is not a massive issue.

A nursing home, by its very nature, is a place where most people do not want to be, but the staff at Abundant Grace go the full mile in making it a warm, friendly, pleasant place to be.

The building is well designed with beautiful well-kept gardens. My mum has been at AG since Sept 23 and is very comfortable, content and well looked after. She loves her garden view and the activities.

My beloved aunt was sent to Abundant Grace April 23, for end of life to only be there a week or two.
With pure determination from her and impeccable care, support, love and stimulation from everyone at AG, she managed to go on another year.
I felt great comfort from her being there, as I felt guilty in the beginning of her going into a home.
They reassured me, comforted and attended to every need to make her feel safe, entertained and comfortable.
The staff were patient and so very understanding with her, as well as extremely supportive with me up to her demise.
The staff are so warm and friendly.
It is such a beautiful building and the gardens are stunning.

Highly recommend Abundant Grace to care for your loved one.

"Welcome to Abundant Grace. The first thing people notice when they visit Abundant Grace isn't the building - it is the atmosphere. It's the sound of residents laughing together, families staying longer than they planned, and staff greeting everyone by name. Buildings don't create that sense of warmth; people do. Our ultimate aim is for every resident to feel that this is truly their home, not simply the place where they live.

When families first visit us, they are usually looking for reassurance that their loved one will be safe, happy, and genuinely cherished. For almost six years, I have had the privilege of leading our dedicated team and witnessing first-hand the difference that compassionate, person-centred care can make. I am proud that Abundant Grace has achieved a 'Good' rating across all five CQC domains, but our greatest achievement will always be the trust that our residents and their families place in us every day.

Everything we do is guided by one simple question: "What would I want if this were my own family?" That philosophy shapes the way we recruit, train, and support our team. While clinical excellence is essential, it is kindness, dignity, and respect that truly define exceptional care.

Our peaceful location on the outskirts of Seaford allows residents to enjoy a calm and relaxing environment while remaining close to family and friends. Whether we are supporting someone through changing care needs, celebrating life's milestones, or simply taking the time to sit and listen, our team is committed to ensuring every resident feels valued and respected.”
