Pentlands has a warm and inviting atmosphere, that is always spotlessly clean. I have found the staff to be friendly, happy and professional, but most importantly, kind. The activities are varied and inclusive and fun! I have always had peace of mind that my mum is being well cared for.

My mum has been in Abundant Grace Nursing Home for 2yrs 9 mths and will be 100 in November. I don't live locally now but visit three times a year. Every since my mum has been here I have never had any worries about her, I feel she is looked after extremely well with dignity and kindness. Activities
are offered to those who wish to take part ensuring residents are not just left in their rooms. I think the staff are lovely, they always recognised me and know who I have come to visit and are very hard working. The two receptionists are the first point of contact for the home and both are very approachable, professional and do an excellent job.

Abundant Grace has provided an excellent environment for my mum. I see her happy, safe and engaged with activities. She has Alzheimer's & Vascular Dementia. When she arrived 2 years ago her behaviour was very challenging. The support & kindness shown by staff meant she was able to settle and relax.
I trust this care home very much. I did not have such a positive experience with a previous establishment.

My mother was very low when she arrived at Pentlands Nursing Home Worthing. The team have encouraged my mother to engage with other residents and is going out into the community. My mother is a lot happier and I can relax knowing she is well cared for. The support the whole team that has been given
to me and my mum is exceptional. Communication is very good. I am always contacted of any changes and if I have any queries nothing is to much. When I arrive after travelling to see her there is always a welcome and a cup of tea.
Thank you to all the staff at Pentlands. 5 star

My mother moved into Berkeley lodge from hospital needing palliative care. The team at Berkeley Lodge have been so welcoming and kind to my mother and supportive to me and my family. I am comforted to know that my mother is being so well cared for as she approaches the end of life. All the staff always
give you and your loved one their time and nothing seems to be to much to ask. Working in social care myself, I am especially impressed in their personal centred approach, treating everyone as individuals, with dignity and respect.

Pentlands was recommended to us by several people independently of each other. My wife has been there for 18 months, and I doubt I could find better care anywhere else. The home is well managed so that a good atmosphere prevails and staff are friendly and helpful. On the medical side they are alert
and quick to deal with any issues that arise, e.g. managing pain. The manager/matron and senior nurse are easily accessible and contact me promptly when necessary.

My Father was here for over a year. The staff all of them were lovely and caring. They acted professionally and provided my dad the care he needed up until he had to leave because he required more nursing care. He was comfortable, safe and happy at White Lodge. The staff always answered the phones and
I always got answers to any questions I had. Dad's medical care / welfare was catered for and he was monitored and I was always updated. This Care home was always clean and tidy and had a homely feel about it. I would recommend White Lodge so glad I found this gem for Dad.

From first arriving at Berkeley Lodge and meeting Kelly we were very impressed with the standard of the home and realised that the advice about Mums care needs from a Nurse Manager at Mums assessment were accurate. Mum needs to be hoisted for her care needs. All staff are kind & polite and nothing is
too much trouble and their understanding of palliative care is superb & very reassuring for me, in that because of this I can relax & enjoy precious time with my mother. Food is absolutely wonderful and I believe all auxillary staff should be congratulated.
Wonderful place and feel there is nothing to improve!

I normally visit my brother once a week between 9am & 10am. He's normally having breakfast either in his room or in the corridor, cereals, toast & two drinks, 1 hot & 1 cold. There are loads of staff looking after Melvyn, they communicate with Melvyn & he always responds in his way. The home is clean,
the food is good & the staff are excellent

My partner needed full time nursing care after nearly 6 months of hospitalization. Suffering from many health issues and immobility the family wanted a happy placement for him. Pentlands were efficient and quick to respond to our enquiry and having our very much loved family member there is the best
decision we could have made. The care and attention he receives is second to none, the food is really excellent and the activities are entertaining and well thought out. His en suite room is lovely, comfortable tasteful and also practical and safe. He is very happy to be there. All the management and staff are very experienced, caring, thoughtful and extremely pleasant and we are sure that all the patients must feel very safe, comfortable, happy and inspired.

Having to deal with placing a loved one in care is such a daunting prospect, nothing can prepare you for what lies ahead, to have the care and support of the entire team at Berkeley Lodge has been a total blessing to me, my Mum and wider family.
Todays visit highlighted the difference between Dads
care at Berkeley Lodge compared to the alternative offered by West Sussex.
Not only the cleanliness of Berkeley Lodge, but the genuinely caring nature of everyone from the receptionist, the cleaning staff and nursing team all of whom 'know' my Dad and take a real interest in his wellbeing, you are all amazing - thank you all.
I know my Dad would be horrified to see himself as he is today, and as sad as that is, it's comforting to know his final years will be in the best possible surroundings with a team that truly care. Thank you Berkeley Lodge, you're just wonderful.
