My mother in law has been in Abundant Grace for 7 months now and we couldn't be more pleased with the care and cooperation of the team there. Care for the elderly is a difficult and emotive issue and we are learning all the time.

So grateful to all staff your hard work and dedication is very much appreciated! This nursing home is so nice everyone is so good and helpful. Bruce is indeed in the right place he is having the best care he could possibly receive so it's a massive thank you from both of us!

I am so very happy with the Berkeley Lodge. The staff have been very cooperative, empathetic and the care that has been received has been excellent. The room is clean and big. The food has been delicious. The management has been understanding and approachable.

Our mum has now been at Blatchington Manor for about 7 months and she is really thriving there. All the staff are warm and kind and look after her every need. She loves the home cooked meals and cake and has even made friends with the gardener! We couldnt have hoped for a better transition into a care home - theres always activities on and staff to chat to and i can tell that mum feels really loved and respected at Blatchington Manor. The building itself is bright and airy and it has really good air conditioning that was a godsend this summer! Its also very clean and always smells fresh. I would highly recommend this care home, i cant actually fault it, all the staff are so lovely and make us as visitors feel welcome too.

Wonderful calm atmosphere, my mum is very happy and well looked after by the staff. Plenty of activities and good level of care. Very friendly, kind staff. The number of residents in the home is perfect for care to resident ratio.

Blatchington is perfect for our Mum as she is still very sociable despite having mixed dementia. The activities keep her busy every day, whereas other homes we looked at only had sporadic activities. Whenever I visit it is always clean and welcoming (visitors are allowed at any time). The staff really do care here and the home and gardens are beautiful. Mum settled in surprisingly quickly and I think it's because she is well looked after in every sense. The food is good too, as is the 24/7 app so we can read what she is up to every minute of the day and night. I'm so glad we chose Blatchington, Mum couldn't be in a better place.

There are no words to describe how incredibly grateful we are to Eastridge Manor for the care they are giving to my father in law. The staff are so kind, so patient, so professional, so empathetic.

He has now lived there for almost a year.

My husband and I visited 9 homes in total while looking and Eastridge stood out for its homeliness, peacefulness and we got a really good feeling from everyone we encountered. The decor isn't brand new and we *loved* that; lots of the others we saw felt more like modern hotels. Not very homely for an 84 year old.

Our standards are very high in general and it's been a very long time that a company/service has exceeded our expectations.

We tell them at every opportunity how grateful we are to them.

Nothing is too much for the staff, from walking into the reception area to going to the allocated rooms for my parents. Will definitely be using again.

Mum always wanted to receive full time care after staying at Blatchington Manor on a respite basis during family holidays. Although it was not appropriate for her to move in initially, as her condition progressed and it became unsafe for her to live independently this was the only place she wanted to live. Now that she has been resident for close to a year she is happily settled and looks very well, especially as she has nothing to worry about whatsoever. A couple of minor health concerns have been picked up by staff and resolved through her GP. Seems much easier for her to see the GP than I have experienced.

I came here 2 weeks ago, because I wanted some convalescent care after a stay in hospital. I have been very comfortable and feel well cared for. I was fortunate that Poets had a room available, and that I am able to extend my stay on a weekly basis- I appreciate this flexibility. There is a good staff/guest ratio, and staff are helpful, friendly + professional!

Had the care she has received been other than of the highest standard, she would no longer be with us.

I was in respite care for three weeks. All staff were so caring, attentive, and understanding. My accommodation was bright & modern with a walk in wet room, I very much appreciated the hoist assisted bathroom. The cleanliness of the home was exceptional, Such a great location, The food was delicious with a very varied menu, certainly plenty of choice. I would recommend respite & long stay residency.

I have great confidence in the team and feel reassured knowing that my father is being well looked after. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe, caring and supportive environment for a loved one.

I have had the opportunity to visit and stay on 2 occasions for respite and now full time. A perfect place which oozes comfort. From the outside approach with its clean windows and nice looking building says it all - on entering your met with a warm, friendly approach from all staff and it continues through the building with nice, comfortable rooms tv and conservatory. Meeting areas for visitors incl places restaurant in the centre which a open appeal the place has that nice place to live from nice rooms etc

My husband spent 2 weeks at Fernbank in August whilst I visited family in America. This was the second respite visit, so he knew the routine which made it less worrying for him. Luckily the same room was available, and we were able to have the bed raised which helped getting in and out easier. He also knew one of the residents from before, and had visited him regularly, so all in all it was a good two weeks. Nobody really wants to leave their nearest and dearest in a home, but this was as good as it could have been. The staff are all very kind and welcoming and will do anything they can to make your stay a happy stay. Thank you to them all.

Staff could not have been more attentive, caring, and friendly - full marks. Food could have been better although nutritious and fresh. and staff do what they can to personalise. Lots of extra tea and biscuits. Lacking a garden, could have done with one in the hot weather but nice terrace. Every effort made to place with known residents at mealtimes.

Mum arrived at Pentlands 6 months ago, recovering from a hip operation and a leg ulcer. Thanks to the wonderful care at the home the ulcer has healed completely and she is able to get around her new environment with the help of a frame. The staff are very friendly and of course - caring. Many of them have been on the team for several years and this continuity of care is very evident. Every effort is made to involve Mum in the well-designed daily activities, and she has made friends with other residents through eating together in the dining room. I am welcome to visit her at any time and I have made friends with other family members of Pentlands' residents. I have no hesitation in recommending Pentlands to friends and family, knowing their loved one will receive the same excellent care that is benefiting my mum.

The carers park up residents in a mish mash manner i.e. pathways to garden get blocked so mobile wheelchair users have difficulty getting out.
