My father has been living in Berkeley Lodge for over a year now. During this time Dad has changed, becaming calmer, wanting to be involved in activities and enjoying the food.
When Dad first moved in, he presented a few behaviours which tested the team. But they worked with dad to find solutions that
have allowed Dad to be as he is now. He still challenges the team but they remain calm and supportive, not just to Dad but to both my brother and myself.
They keep us informed at all times and are willing to speak with us, if we are concerned about anything.
A great team led by a good manager
Thank you

all the staff at Berkeley Lodge are so completely involved with Mum's care. I can speak to any member of the team for help and advice. Mum's needs are always met and they ensure that her care is specific to her, either with food, entertainment or personal care. We cannot recommend BL highly enough.
Mum has been here coming up for 2 and a half years and it has changed her and our lives.

Resident (95) has settled so well since she transferred here a couple of years ago. She is so well cared for it has given her a new lease of life. Today she was very chatty and clearly the staff has affection for her. She still demonstrates impeccable social skills even though she is dependent for almost
everything. She was dressed well, her room clean and tidy.

We really appreciated the speed of response after we first contacted Pentlands, and all arrangements they made for appropriate transport. Our mother's end-of-life care was outstanding. Support to family members in difficult and unexpected circumstances was excellent.

Although Mum's stay with Pentlands was very brief, the care and support shown was wonderful. The attention to detail in caring my mum was both sensitive and caring. Once Mum had passed away, the manager was very supportive and respectful. All the staff were helpful and caring, and we can't speak more
highly of Pentlands.
It is just a pity my mum wasn't able to have more time at Pentlands, and enjoy Pentlands.

Sadly our Mum recently passed away in Pentlands after 8 days of palliative care. From the moment mum arrived, the standard of care and support was exceptional. It was clear from the outset that everyone at Pentlands was highly trained, attentive, and compassionate. From the wonderful matron Debbie and
Mum's primary care nurse Ella, through to all of the nurses, carers, caterers and maintenance staff, my family cannot speak highly enough of this nursing home.
Mum being Mum, she made a quick impression on all the staff and they always looked out for her. No request was too small. All of her visiting family and friends were made to feel welcome. Facilities modern and clean. Food excellent.
As devastated as we are by mum's loss, it is comforting to know she received the best possible care at the end of her life. This being Worthing, there are plenty of nursing homes to choose from. I would highly recommend Pentlands without hesitation.

An amazing place with amazing people working there. Lovely, bright and very clean blatchington manor has a very warm friendly and inviting feel to the place as soon as you step inside and has lots of amazing areas for their residents. bedrooms are lovely spacious and high end furnished and very clean
as are the residents en suite bathrooms Gardens are very well maintained with some lovely touches like the old telephone booth. The lots of different activities daily are great and the throughout the day updates keep us well informed. My mum has been a resident about a month and I cannot thank everyone enough for the kindness and patience they have shown to my mum. I am so grateful and relieved that my mum is in such a great place with wonderful people looking after her.

My mother was a resident at Eastridge for almost 8 years. The quality of care was generally very good, with some excellent caring staff.
However management of the home deteriorated alarmingly from excellent in 2018 to extremely poor by 2026, with communication almost nonexistent in the past 3 years.
As an example, disappointingly activities seem to be less available, and I recently heard that a long standing provider of skittles and dancing/music entertainment had been cancelled without an alternative being provided.
Previously, the management team were seen to be present, 7 days a week and after hours. Now they remain in their offices, and are not on the premises after 5pm.

My mother in law only resided here for a short time around 4 month she had previously been at two other places over 2 years and in that short time we have never known a care home to be this caring from day 1we were welcomed and from day one our mother had a smile we had long lost due to her dementia
she was well looked after by all the staff everyone interacted with her she has a goody supply of tea and that's how she liked it only time she grumbled was about how much food she got didn't stop her putting it all away tho.. and we were treated just as well we knew nearly all the staff everyone aways had time to chat to you as soon as they see us in came the tea tray and some biscuits I couldn't recommend this place any more when our mother passed away we were devastated and to see how upset the staff were that's when you know just how much they cared for our mum we will miss this place very much we had become one big family over most weekends and in the week

I chose Blatchington Manor for my family member because the staff are so kind, efficient and supportive. The vegetarian food is top quality and the gardens are very therapeutic, plus the building is light, cheerfully furnished and very spacious. The cleaning is top quality and the entertainment and
activities provided very prolific! Thank you, Blatchington Manor. You are wonderful!

I am constantly impressed by all of the staff at Fernbank, in Gratwicke Road. There is such a warm cheery atmosphere from the staff when they help Mum. I couldn't expect anything more from the staff and l have no concerns in the level of professional care that is given to my elderly relative. I know
she is well cared for and have never had reason to doubt that over several years

My mother had a severe stroke and was already suffering with Alzheimer's and as a result of the stroke she required 24 hour care. The Poets home have been caring and professional in their delivery of care to my mother.
The home is very clean, welcoming with professional caring staff. My mother is
part of a community where she is included in all activities despites the issues she has . The staff ensure she feels included in everything from morning coffee to afternoon activities.
Without this home she would not live the active life she does.
The staff know the name of each patient and their family. We are always made to feel welcome. There are no restrictions on visiting.
The senior team are approachable. They take time to listen to concerns taking the seriously and give feedback on actions taken.
I would have preferred that my mum had not needed care but am so glad she found this home for its care and support. I would wholly recommend this home to anyone looking.

My mum has been at Blatchington for 4 years and the level of care shown has been exceptional. She is treated with dignity and kindness at all times, and I am confident that she is safe and well looked after. All staff are friendly and approachable and do an amazing job - nothing is too much trouble.
Visiting is always a joy. The care home is responsive as regards any questions and requests and keeps me up to date with how she is doing. It is an absolute weight off my mind to know that she is happy and peaceful and I cannot recommend Blatchington highly enough.
