Himley Manor Care Home

I am impressed with the care my mother is receiving at Himley Manor. The staff are kind, caring + welcoming. The home is clean + welcoming + well kept. Visitor cakes are a lovely touch when you enter. Having experienced many different homes this stands out as being an impressive setting.

Very helpful staff, always willing to help. Nothing was too much trouble.

I find the home very welcoming and clean. Residents seem happy. Always seems to be plenty going on whether it be activities involving residents or it may be a fundraiser. Families are kept upto date about family residents with monthly relative meetings. I particularly like the Facebook page which always has lots of photos from the daily activities. Staff are always friendly and obliging and always on hand.

Thank to all of the staff for what they did, it would be unfair to single anyone out.

We have no problems whatsoever with the care and support from staff. Emma and Sarah went above and beyond to get support for Ann and the family, for which we are truly grateful. Thank you all.

My mom was there for just 1 year and she was well looked after and the staff were always pleasant . There were plenty of activities going on and singers visiting regularly . Moms room was enquire and always tidy and clean

I can't thank the staff enough at Himley Manor for taking care of my mom over the last four years. She was always lovely and clean and well fed. Because of her dementia she could be angry sometimes but the staff always spoke to her in a cheery way. I'm sorry that she had to move from there due to a fracture of the hip as needed nursing care.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to others.

My mother spent a short time in Himley Manor. She was well looked after, well fed and settled very quickly. After spending 18 years living alone the staff managed to get her up dancing which she loved. We would have no hesitation in recommending this home.

Very welcoming, clean, meals were good and also good with mom. Thank you for making her stay enjoyable.

My wife and I have always found this home to be very clean and tidy, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My mother seems to be very well settled, and very happy. She has told us on several occasions how well looked after she is.

Himley Manor is a lovely, clean and well managed care home. The staff are excellent and the rooms are very good. All the facilities are first class, food, entertainment and staff care of residents is marvellous. Couldn't be better.

My mother was a resident at Himley Manor for about two years before passing away.We have nothing but praise for the way they were with her and to us as a family.Nothing was to much trouble for her and the support they gave to me and my wife was so appreciated.She loved it there ,the food the carers all of it.It was always great when we visited we were always asked if we needed anything and my mom always looked smart in her lovely clean clothes.The home itself was always clean and tidy and didn't seem like a care home .Mom passed away Sunday which is so hard but the care she received in end of life we will always be grateful.Its like a big caring family there and we couldn't praise it enough .Thank you .Would highly recommend.

The care home was excellent, all the staff and management were very kind and caring towards my mom, everyone enjoyed her company - the security was very good indeed, it was a very safe environment for my mom, and I would recommend the care home to any of my friends who come to the time when loved one's cant manage on their own anymore and need to go into care.

Very busy care home, always full, sometimes carers slow to meet patients' needs (ie, toilet and time to chat). Room pretty basic for patients, call it an ensuite but no shower in there.

I always feel comfortable when I leave my mom because I know she is receiving excellent care.

I would recommend Himley Manor Care Home to anyone who needs care for any of their family.

If we have any concerns/issues there is always a staff member to speak with and our concerns are normally dealt with promptly. Overall Himley Manor is a good home with good staff.

Mom was a resident of Mimley Manor for 12 months prior to her unexpected death in April. As a retired nurse, I found the staff to be very professional. All of them treated Mom with compassion and kindness. She was very happy living there. Having to ring me in the middle of the night to inform me of Mom's passing could not have been. Easy for the staff, but they were so kind.
