Staff in every department of this care home were extremely cooperative and understanding of my father's very complex needs. From the moment he arrived, one could feel the sense of organisation with every staff member being absolutely in control of exactly what was required from them. The facilities are great, particularly the communal and social areas.

Well appointed home with tasteful modern decor, offering many facilities for residents. The standard of care is very good and the home is well managed. Fees are comparatively high but many things which are extras in other homes are included.

Overall Experience

My mother has been resident at Rubislaw Park for 6 months, the nursing care, in particular, is fantastic, enthusiastic staff handling challenging situations in a very professional way. The setting, amenities and activities are very good, all family and friends as visitors are very impressed in comparison to other similar facilities. Nevertheless, the costs are not cheap, with a recent significant increase, but there is no doubt you pay for what you get, it first means any personal money decreases quicker.

At 95, mum was extremely exhausted when I came to visit her in her flat. We were extremely lucky that Rubislaw was able to take her for respite. Mum flourished and recovered so well that it was clear that she should stay in the care home. The team in Rubislaw are exceptional in their compassion, professionalism and dedication. Mum is so happy and well looked after. We are blessed that at this stage in her life, she is so well cared for by Rubislaw team.

My dad has been settled in Rubislaw Park for over 4 months now. We are very happy with the way he has settled and the care that is provided. The home is always welcoming, clean and organised. There are lots of good activities for residents and he is happy. Rubislaw Park is not cheap and will be beyond what is possible for some but the quality of care is excellent.
