The home is modern and kept immaculately clean. All the staff are friendly and approachable. The carers and nurses do an amazing job.
My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's and we struggled as a family to give her the care she needed. It was a tough decision to make but Almond Valley made it easy. From the moment we met the staff, we knew she would be well looked after and in safe hands. She has settled in well and it's peace of mind now knowing she is cared for and is safe. I can not recommend Almond Valley highly enough.
Thank you very much for your kind words, I will pass these on to the team. We know how difficult it can be when choosing a care home for your loved one so it's our priority to support families as much as we can when they come for a look around our home. Our resident's daily activities and outings...
Mum was a resident at Almond Valley Care Home until January 2025. The care and experience she received was exemplary. She was looked after so well and we as a family had every confidence in the staff as a whole. Mum engaged in some of the social activities and loved having her hair done. The manager was so approachable, caring and compassionate and always had time for us. We would highly recommend Almond Valley to anyone looking for care.
Thank you very much for your kind words, I will pass these on to our team. Its important to us at Almond Valley that we support our residents to participate in all daily activities of their choice. My mum is well looked after and there are lots of activities for them to do and mum is always looking happy and enjoying herself in the photos I see of the daily activities that they are doing. I can see that Mum is getting great care which relaxes me in knowing that she is in a great care home and cannot thank them all for the care she is receiving.
Can't praise the staff enough.
Thank you for your kind words I will pass this on to the team. It's important to us that our residents enjoy our daily activities and be happy within our home.
Beautiful home with lovely facilities and caring, enthusiastic staff. There are always different events or projects residents are encouraged to be involved in and one-to-one time doing whatever the individual wishes. Overall excellent care.
Thank you for your review. It's important that we have a range of activities and events for our residents to participate in making sure we provide one-to-one care as well as group activities.
I couldn't have chosen a better care home, for my husband, the whole team go above and beyond for him and myself. I can leave him, knowing he's in the best and safest place and that he'll be well cared for, which puts my mind at rest, he was the first resident in the Almond Valley care home, in Livingston. The team made his first day so special for him, the whole team are amazing and I can't thank them enough.
Thank you very much for your review. It's important to us that we support our residents and families alike to ensure they receive the best care. It was our pleasure to welcome your husband as our first resident to our beautiful home.
