My mum recieved end of life care, which was compassionate & very caring. All staff treated her with dignity & respect. A beautiful room in which to end her days. I cannot thank the manager & all the team enough. Thank you.

As a family friend of the service user in your premises I take this special opportunity to thank you abundantly for the exceptional, extraordinary excellent care (quality) you gave to my best friend whom you looked after for a period of 5-6months. The warm atmosphere as you come in the building tells
alot, very well maintained. My friend was beautifully look after and the "ENTIRE" family and friends. WELL DONE all of you. The Manager and all the Nursing staff, so loving and kind and the Care staff. Oh! The laundry lady always looked after my friend's family clothing. Thank you and keep the good standard of care. I will let CQC aware as well.

Birch care home. I was very impressed with the level of care and attention provided to the residents. The staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.


The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to ensure the

comfort and safety of the residents. The rooms were spacious and bright, offering a homely feel. I also noticed a variety of engaging activities tailored to the interests and abilities of the residents, promoting both mental stimulation and social interaction.


Meals appeared to be nutritious and appetising, with options accommodating different dietary needs. It was clear that the wellbeing of the residents is a top priority.


Overall, Birch park care home offers a nurturing and supportive environment where residents can thrive. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones.

Birch Park have cared for our mum for over five years, and our mum is happy and settled.
The staff are exceptional, very caring and respectful, they attend to her needs very well.
Our mum's needs have changed significantly over the five years but at every stage there has been excellent support from
the managers, support staff, nurses and carers.
Everyone is devoted to the wellbeing of the residents including an Activities Team to help keep resident involved and entertained.
All staff are approachable to discuss any issues or needs and are open minded for ideas.
The home is exceptionally well maintained in all areas; the rooms are very comfortable and kept clean by dedicated cleaning & laundry staff, there is also the opportunity to personalise them. The common areas are pleasant with access to well-maintained outdoor areas. There are two dining areas supported by dedicated catering staff providing excellent food.
We are very pleased we chose Birch Park to care for our mum.

Exceptionally well-run nursing home. The manager is excellent, she knows her residents, relatives and her staff. Other homes need to visit to see how a nursing home should be run! Building well set out. Always clean and tidy.

My father was a resident at the home for nearly three years. I chose the home as I wanted a professionally run establishment with a qualified nurse on duty at all times.
The care for my father was exceptional. The carers are kind, conscientious and anticipate the needs of the residents. In particular
the home excelled with end of life, not only do they look after the resident but also the family, and this is due to an exceptional manager and deputy manager.

From the moment we stepped foot in Birch Park, the care, love and support provided to my mother in law has been exceptional. The last year of her life was lived to the full at Birch Park - she was happy, felt safe and fulfilled. Staff are kind beyond words - going above and beyond for my mother in law
and for the family. As a Registered Nurse and ex Regulation Inspector, I can honestly say that Birch Park is one of the best homes I have ever been in. Thanks to all the staff - you ensured that she had an excellent quality of life, we are so grateful.

The home is exceptionally well maintained in all areas, the rooms are very bright and decorated to a high standard, the meals were good and my dad commented about how nice they were. My dad's care needs were met from the first instance by amazing kind and compassionate staff, the manager helped facilitate
the move making it as smooth as possible for us as a family as my dad was very reluctant to go into a home. He was only in the home a very short time but he was happy, content and extremely well cared for, nothing was too much trouble for the team and I would highly recommend this home to anyone needing 24-hour care.

From day one the staff have eased my mother into the life of a care home, a different environment from what she has been used to. They have done this with consideration and care taking into account her needs and condition. The ensuite rooms are good and we are cleaned regularly. Food is good and healthy
with tea and coffee provided throughout the day. Facilities are excellent and people coming in with extra help such as hairdressers and podiatrists are also good. I would recommend this care home to any family needing permanent or respite care.

Dad has recently moved into the home from living independently. The whole experience has been excellent, the staff have taken time to get to know him and supported him very well in the transition. The senior team and the manager are always approachable and helpful as we have navigated this difficult
period for him. The quality of the rooms is great and dad who loves his food, is really enjoying the varied menu choices. This support has been very much appreciated by us as a family knowing he is being looked after 24/7 and safe. Having a nursing team on site has also been invaluable. On his birthday, they organised a tea party for us and dad had a cake made, which was a lovely touch.

Our mother was at Birch Park for more than 3 years. Their service and care was absolutely outstanding. I could not have asked for more personal service. My Dad and I spent a lot of time there over the years and we always found every member of staff to be respectful, patient and caring, not only to my
own Mum but to every other person we saw them deal with. The staff all knew her and were aware of her own personal difficulties, her likes and dislikes, and what it was that we wanted for her. Before we even thought to ask, they were always ahead of us with suggestions of activities, specialised furniture and medical care. When it came to end-of-life care, despite it being an incredibly difficult time for us all, we were confident that they were giving my Mum the very best in terms of comfort, care and medical knowledge. The manager was communicative and compassionate throughout and we were so grateful for the support that she and her fabulous staff offered us.

This afternoon we had a small family / friends gathering for my aunt’s 99th birthday held in the lovely lounge at Birch Park Care Home. The catering for a delicious and beautifully presented afternoon tea was provided by the home catering staff. The caring in the home ensured that my aunt had a lovely

The home is always welcoming, warm and exceptionally clean. However, I feel that the home looks more corporate in decoration and lacks maybe some personal belongings of residents doled around the shared areas. Not sure of the activity status as the person I visited appears not to want to share much
in group settings (that's what she informs me). The outdoor environment is quite wonderful and very well managed, a great asset for the residents who can enjoy it.

I highly recommend Birch Park. Mum has been very ill, and they have always put her best interests in place. She is very well looked after. I can talk to management and staff if I have any questions, and they listen and deal with them efficiently. The staff are very friendly and care for all the residents.
It is clean and secure. Regular entertainment is provided throughout the year - the home had a hairdressing salon.
