I can not explain how amazing Brook Lodge has been over the last month. My grandad is a new resident here and they have done their absolute utmost to help him settle in in every way possible. It's never easy having a family member have to go into a residential home but I would 110% recommend this home to anyone in the same situation. The Operational Lead Lady has been such an amazing support to us, keeping in contact and letting us know things every step of the way. The place is beautiful and the staff are amazing thank you.
elderly stepfather-in-law. He is really happy and content, and more independent and interested in things he used to do before he became unwell. I never thought he would read again, which he did avidly all his life, but this week he actually showed us a 500-page crime novel he is reading! Amazing! Thank you, Brook Lodge! He talks about the quizzes he enjoys, the books he reads, and the activities he takes part in. Excellent all round. Thank you to the staff who are ALL so hard-working, dedicated, helpful and friendly to residents and family members alike.
The staff are always friendly and helpful at Brook Lodge, my aunt is happy there and they cater for her needs which is paramount. The staff always let me know if there is a problem or if my aunt requires anything. During the pandemic the staff were extremely busy but always made time for me on the phone, they also had the connect set up for video chatting which was great.
I cannot fault the quality of care provided to my mum during her stay at Brook Lodge. From the day she moved in, nothing was too much trouble. The home was always happy to answer any questions I had. They always kept me updated on my mum's condition.
My mother moved into Brook Lodge in December 2020 so she has been there for 3 months. She has settled in very quickly and is enjoying the various activities. She also likes the food. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Although we haven’t been able to visit due to the Covid 19 pandemic, her enthusiasm during phone conversations and video calls says a lot.
I have never looked back since the day my mother moved into the Jasmine Unit I was a little worried because I thought my mother would feel as though I had locked her away but she quickly made friends and gets a lot of chance to help out where possible. Thank you Jasmine Unit keep up the good work.
The lady who is in charge has gone above and beyond to help with any problems that have arisen especially during this COVID situation.
My mum truly thinks the world of her ... which is lovely to see.
It is extremely reassuring to know that they are doing everything to make her as comfortable as possible.
Thank you, Brook Lodge, for all that you do.
My mum has been in Book Lodge since April. The care she is getting is excellent. They treat her as though she is one of their own. My mum could not be in better hands. They have done so much for the wellbeing and needs of my mum. I highly recommend this care home, as all-round it's one of the best.
The Jasmine Unit staff found a way for us see and communicate with Mum through glass windows into a sun lounge while we remained outside. Then we got to see her in person on a visit to hospital. We could see from her appearance, her hair, and her skin, that she is being well cared for.
It's extremely difficult for someone going into care for the first time and the staff have helped walk Mum through this journey to a place where she is now settling into her new environment. Throughout this time, the staff have kept us up-to-date with Mum’s state of mind and requirements for her every need.
We appreciate so much the dedicated work the Jasmine Unit have undertaken through this period and would like to say a very big THANK YOU.
A lovely and caring care home - my aunt is having a lovely stay there - they have a Patient of the day where the patient gets special treatment - it is a lovely home - they are very caring and considerate - highly recommended
My dad was one of the first to go into Brook Lodge when it first opened. He has said he cannot fault the home i.e. the care and compassion is excellent. In fact he’s doing really well and his sense of humour has returned. In short, he’s happy and settled. If anything wasn’t right he would definitely be able to tell me.
Everywhere is beautifully clean and his room has its ensuite, including a wet room shower facility, which is not only very convenient but also ensures that a high degree of privacy and personal dignity are maintained. He is able to choose whether to be in his room or in a communal area which he appreciates. The food menu is good and varied.
My father has been at Brook Lodge since November 2018, after looking at several other care homes in the area, we decided that by far Brook Lodge was the best. My father is very happy there and has settled in very well. The staff are all very very caring and considerate and nothing ever appears to be to much trouble.
From management down to the staff are fantastic, very helpful, friendly and professional. My mother's care has been exceptional.
Excellent rehabilitation stay following long stay in hospital prior to moving to a permanent home. Staff were incredibly caring and supportive. My Mother really benefitted from the care and attention and was very happy there.
