Buttercup Lodge and Sunflower House are led by Christine Highfield, an experienced and passionate Registered Manager who began her career in care in 2001. Christine started as a carer, supporting individuals with both physical and mental health needs, and has since built a strong foundation across a wide range of services including residential care homes, day centres, step down support and sheltered accommodation.
Over the years, Christine progressed into leadership roles, becoming a service lead and developing a reputation for her commitment to high quality, person-centred care. In March 2025, she joined Mysa Care as the Registered Manager of Buttercup Lodge and Sunflower House.
Christine has a particular passion for care planning, taking the time to really get to know the people we support and ensuring their care is tailored to their individual needs. Her approach is compassionate, knowledgeable and focused on helping individuals live meaningful and independent lives.
