Mum moved to Estuary Gardens recently from another care home. The welcome we have received has been wonderful. As a family, we have found all staff to be friendly, caring, attentive and supportive. The home is brand new, beautiful and well designed, with open plan spaces where carers and staff are always present, so it is very reassuring to know mum is always safe and in excellent hands. There is a lovely atmosphere and activities are encouraged. As a family, we are so grateful, knowing mum is well cared for and providing us with peace of mind.

My mum has been a resident for nearly 12 months and has found the home almost like living in a hotel. She has been very well looked after. As a family we can not fault the home and the staff at all.

Estuary Gardens is providing a new home for mum. It been a very steep learning curve for both family and the carers in the home. Getting to know mums likes/dislikes. Honesty for the family is most important, we need to know mums good days and bad as that is life. The home is very caring and we are very happy with how she is been looked after.

Dad moved to Estuary Gardens a few months ago after a hospital admission. Although he has recovered well, he didn't feel like retuning home (he'd been quite lonely for some time) . This has been the best move for Dad; the care, dignity and kindness he, and us as a family have been shown is just wonderful. ALL the staff are amazing- friendly, welcoming, professional at all times, nothing is too much trouble. There are lots of activities and outings, with great community involvement Having worked in social care for many years, I have seen lots care homes, but for me Estuary Gardens is how all homes should be.

After a mild heart attack and a mild stroke. I felt unable to carry on living on my own. I came to the care home for a 2 week trial, found it to be excellent and decided to stay.

I went along to visit my sister in law and was immediately invited to join in the VE Day celebrations, even to stay for the wartime meal. It was brilliant, the management and staff had pulled out all the stops to ensure that the residents enjoyed themselves and completely immersed themselves in the event. I'm so impressed with Estuary Gardens. The feeling of interest and care is exceptional. I am 91 years of age, and if I could afford it, I'd move in tomorrow.

Dad, 96 years old, had been struggling at home on his own for a few months. Following 2x recent hospital stays, he decided it was time to move to residential care.

The welcome we have had as a family, the care and love Dad has received as a resident, is second to none. All the staff, reception, managers, care staff, cleaners, maintenance, chefs, laundry staff - EVERYBODY are so friendly, caring, and nothing is too much trouble.

Mum has recently moved from another residential home to Estuary Gardens. We have been really impressed with all of the pre admission visits, communications these have really helped mum to settle in quickly.
Aesthetically it is a beautiful, new, modern purpose built home. The welcome as soon as you walk in to the lovely reception area is warm, & friendly. All public areas - the open plan living/dining/kitchen spaces, garden rooms, cinema room, & gardens are well laid out, decorated. Residents en suite bedrooms are amazing & spacious, 3/4 bed, plenty of storage, lovely furniture/soft furnishing. All rooms have built in television, small fridge within the built in cupboards/wardrobes. En suite wet rooms have shower, toilet, sink, & plenty of storage.

All staff (including management) are highly visible, & make time & effort to talk to/check in with residents & visitors, they are also caring & friendly, dealing with matters/queries raised efficiently & promptly. Really impressed

In one word, "outstanding". From our initial approach and visit, to the resident assessment and the move into the home, we couldn't have asked for more. My auntie had always been very independent so it says everything that after only a few days, she already feels at home. The staff have been friendly and professional from day one and I would like to say a big "thank you" to everyone who has made this life changing move so easy.

We couldn't be happier with the care my mum receives at Estuary Garden. From the moment she arrived, the team made her feel welcome, safe, and truly at home.

The staff are exceptional - kind, patient, and always treating residents with dignity and respect. It's clear they genuinely care, not just about day-to-day needs but about each person as an individual. That makes such a difference to families like ours.

The home itself is always clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully run. There's a lovely atmosphere, with activities and little touches (like events and gatherings) that bring real joy to the residents.

Knowing my mum is so well looked after gives us enormous peace of mind. We're incredibly grateful to everyone at Estuary Garden for the compassion and dedication they show every single day.

I'm writing this as the friend of two people who have recently - winter 2025-2026 - moved from their own homes into this brand-new purpose built home, itself as one part of the new large residential housing development. I visited them both in January 2026 - and then again today, 9 April 2026. Estuary Gardens is, like many places, "easy to find the second time!". (For your first visit it's worth knowing that it's right next to the new supermarket.) It is an attractive modern building, with ample car parking on site - and the newly planted garden at the entrance will mature as 2026 goes forward. The main entrance is easy to find (and with no steps), and the receptionists answer it promptly. I was greeted politely and cheerfully, and I found the checking-in process - my name and vehicle registration, and who I was visiting - easy and appropriate.

I was shown to the room of one of my two friends. It was bright, cheerful and spacious.

I found the whole process excellent, all the staff very helpful, and they could not do enough for myself and my brother, who was in their care for respite whilst I went on holiday. I felt I could go on holiday and have peace of mind that he would be well cared for.

I cannot speak highly enough about Estuary Gardens for respite care. From the very first day, the staff were welcoming, compassionate, and genuinely caring. They treated my dad with dignity, patience, and kindness, which gave our whole family real peace of mind.

The carers are attentive and professional, always taking the time to listen and respond to individual needs. Communication with our family was excellent - we were kept informed and felt involved throughout my dad's stay.

Estuary Gardens is a happy and caring home. It provides excellent support to its residents. All staff, at every level, are approachable, friendly and interact with the residents and family members. Communication is excellent and we feel fully informed on all aspects of Mum's care. There are daily activities on offer and families are also invited to special events regularly.
There is a great range of food on offer with residents choosing from a couple of options every day. When visiting, family members are always asked if they would like a drink. We can also join Mum, for a meal, at no extra cost. The home is kept extremely clean and the housekeeping team make sure laundry is done and returned to resident's rooms.
The facilities are amazing. Rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The lounges and dining areas are set up to be extremely sociable. There are also two garden rooms for activities or private functions and a cinema room. All corridors are wide and the whole home is designed to take any equipment required.

This was a huge move for Mum but we can't fault the care and love that she receives daily.

Well how do I start - from the moment my friend arrived at Estuary Gardens he was cared for fantastically nothing was too much trouble, the staff were so caring and thoughtful and exceeded my expectations in every area - sadly my friend became very poorly and with the support of the home we were able to keep my friend there with Nurses coming in to support the home as well, as it would not have been in my friends best interest for him to be moved to a nursing home and me and his family with be FOREVER grateful for the Manager and staff at the home for keeping him there and showing him the care and compassion he deserved. Not only did the home lovingly look after my friend they also looked after me allowing me to stay with him though the night feeding me lovely meals, bringing me treats during the night -thank you does not seem enough the Manager should be so proud of all his staff, I cannot say enough about Estuary Gardens it is not only a beautiful new home its caring is outstanding
