My mom moved in for respite but we were so impressed with the care given by all the staff and the amazing facilities, she didn't want to go home. She is now a permanent resident and we all feel part of the Holly Grange family.

Since our initial contact with the home about a potential move into it for my uncle, everyone has been fantastic. He moved in and the care staff and management have made such a difference to him. We cannot thank the staff enough and highly recommend the home to anyone looking. Upon each visit we make
we are made to feel welcome and my uncle is loving his new surroundings.

Our experience at Holly Grange has been wonderful. We had a great visit and look around, amazing place. I could tell my dad was going to love it and the carers. I drop my dad off and he goes straight in, really happy. After a short time, they knew him so well and catered for all his needs, with great
activities and lots of singing and wonderful food.
The staff make us feel so welcome, it's great to know my dad is safe and very happy here. I would recommend it to anyone.

My family and I were really impressed with the care from the first visit. All of the staff and management were very welcoming and made us feel relaxed and happy to be there. My brother, on taking him there, was equally happy and has settled in brilliantly and he loves it. The physio that has been done
with him has helped enormously. He enjoys the meals, has a lovely room, and joins in with activities. Very happy all round.

A fantastic evening all around, Dad's 90th birthday. Staff here cannot do enough for you. So pleased Mum and Dad agreed to come to Holly Grange.
Food is marvellous. What a wonderful atmosphere. House team and all staff are so friendly.

My parents have become the first residents of Holly Grange a new build after they had to wait for CQC approval. In less than 24 hours they have settled in well with staff making sure their needs are met. Early days but this chapter in their life makes for a comfortable and safe environment for their
future. Well done all.

Helen

Helen Blundell

Job Title: General Manager Joined: 2024

Helen is a Registered General Nurse with a career spanning over 35 years. She started in operating theatres and worked her way to hospital management. She achieved a BA in Adult Education in 2007 and an MA in Leading Change in 2017, so has a passion for education and encouraging staff progression.


She moved to the social care industry, having nursed a relative with vascular dementia, managing nursing homes in the West Midlands.


Helen is really excited to be leading Holly Grange House as this is a wonderful opportunity for all of the team to provide excellent care in an amazing environment. Helen is married and has a young granddaughter who is the pride and joy of the family. Helen loves knitting (she knits premature baby hats for the local hospitals) and many types of music, so will looks forward to having a home filled with singing and laughter.
