The management and all staff are caring and excellent, my mother in law passed away in Humberston care home recently and the care and dignity she received by the management and staff was exemplary, not only for my mother in law but the immediate family surrounding her.
Humberston care home is relatively new but the set up and procedures and security it offers which is in place to protect the residents means that anyone staying will receive exemplary care and attention by all staff. I would highly recommend humberston care home to any of my friends.
Firstly, please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother-in-law.We are truly heartened to hear that, during such a difficult time, you found our colleagues to be exemplary in the care they provided, both to your mother-in-law and to your family. We are deeply grateful for your kind...
We were welcomed as family to visit at any time. The staff were caring and considerate of my fathers situation. I would like to make a special mention of the chef and kitchen staff, who adapted the menu to my father's needs.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are so pleased to hear that your father felt comfortable and well cared for during his respite stay with us. Ensuring a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment is something we take great pride in, and it's wonderful to know that...
This is a Care Home in the true sense of the words.
Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and moving review. We understand how difficult it can be to place a loved one in care, and it means so much to us that your father's experience at Humberston House changed your perspective. Providing compassionate, dignified, and truly personal care is at the...
This care home is fantastic. The place is immaculate and the staff could not do enough for my step-mum or for the family either. The rooms are lovely and spacious and have a real homely feel to them. My step mum was treated with dignity at all times. I also noticed how happy all the other residents seem to be. We certainly felt relaxed when we had to leave on my step-mums first night staying here. We were relieved as we could see she was getting the first class treatment she deserved. The staff here made a very difficult time just that little bit easier and we will forever be grateful to them for that.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. It truly means a lot to us to hear how pleased you are with the care your step-mum has received. Our team is dedicated to creating a warm, homely, and supportive environment for both our residents and their families, so knowing that you felt at ease and...
My mum was a proud lady who stubbornly valued her independence. Although she always thought she could live independently, her general frailty meant she needed much more support than she could get in her own home. Her attitude meant she wasn't always the easiest of residents, but she came to like the staff (and be liked by them) and enjoyed all aspects of daily life. After a short spell in hospital, she returned to Humberston House Care Home for her final days and the tender care shown by all of the staff, and the kindness shown to me while I spent time with her, is something I will always remember and treasure. The attitude of the whole team is absolutely fantastic. My adult children visited the home on the day of their grandmother's funeral and they were impressed, it is not what they expected a care home to look like!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your heartfelt experience. We are deeply moved by your words and are truly honored to have been a part of your mother's journey. We understand how difficult it can be for someone as proud and independent as your mum to transition to a care home and...
What an absolutely amazing home. Beautiful environment and the most professional and caring staff you could wish for. I can't thank Humberston House enough for the care given to my late mother. You gave my whole family huge comfort and managed her final weeks with us in the most dignified and caring way. I will be forever grateful for that. Simply outstanding and therefore I would wholeheartedly recommend Humberston House for you or your loved one.

It was an honour to support her and your family during such a significant time, and we're grateful that we could offer you comfort and dignity throughout...
My mum was only at Humberston House for a couple of weeks but in that time I found it to be a very welcoming place and the staff were absolutely amazing with my mum and the care she received was fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and always kept to a very high standard, I would certainly recommend Humberston house to anyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. Our team takes great pride in providing high-quality care and maintaining a comfortable environment, and we're grateful that this made a positive impact on both you and your mum.
I commenced day care for my mother with Vascular dementia. I chose Humberston House due to the friendly welcoming manager and staff, lovely decor and emphasis on clients comfort and individualised care. My mother is still very physically fit and staff entertain her and engage in valuable conversations.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for choosing Humberston House for your mother's day care. We're thrilled to hear that you've had such a positive experience with our team, and it's wonderful to know that the friendly atmosphere, decor, and personalised care stood out to you. It's...
I came to Humberston House after breaking my right ankle, after having had a horrendous experience in hospital for a week. I was both mentally and physically drained because only 2 months previously I had major surgery on my left ankle. I was almost fully non-weight-bearing and couldn't go home without respite. From the moment I entered the beautiful building, I began to feel better but it was by far and away the most caring and compassionate staff who made my recovery both physically and mentally much quicker than expected.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We're truly sorry to hear about the challenges you faced before arriving at Humberston House, but we're thrilled that our team could provide the care and support you need during such a difficult time. It's wonderful to know that both the...
My mother has been a resident for the last six weeks and it's given her a new lease of life since she has become a resident here. The staff are first class and it's like a home from home. If you are looking for a care home then I would highly recommend Humberston Care Home.

Was completely against mum going into a care home. Mum went in for a short respite. I have to be honest, I visited ready to rip the place to bits, I didn't want my mum in a care home of any description however I walked through the doors into something that resembled a five-star hotel. Residents sat at white linen tables set for dinner, other residents sat in the games room drinking a glass of wine and playing dominoes. Everything from the daily pastries laid out, to the bar to the cinema room to the bright and up-to-date decor, to the furniture, to the amazing staff, as hard as I tried, I couldn't find a single fault. Mum by her own choice now wanting to stay here long-term.
Thank you for sharing your heartfelt experience. We understand that deciding to move a loved one into a care home can be incredibly difficult, and we are honoured that you chose us for your mum's short respite stay. We're delighted to hear that your first impression was positive and that our...

My friend moved into the care home quite recently and I have visited her approx 6 times and each time have sat with her for 1 and a half hours. She seems to have settled in very well and I have been impressed with the attitude of the staff. They are very patient and caring. The overall atmosphere is happy and homely and it is a pleasure to visit. The design and layout of the building are so well thought out and the decor and furnishings are like to a 5-star hotel!

Very happy with the staff looking after my mum. Food is outstanding, friendly atmosphere for my mum to live, the grounds are super and will be when flowers and trees have grown. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone, I like to ring every day to see how my mum is and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. Very pleased we picked this home for Mum.

My dad moved into Humberston House in early December 2023 for respite care following a number of falls. Within two weeks of him being there I could not believe how much better he was, physically and mentally. This was purely down to the kind and caring team who look after him. The facilities, the food, the stimulation and overall care are absolutely five stars. Dad has now become a full-time permanent resident, we feel so happy that we know he is in a safe and caring environment.

Overall, I feel so content that she is being so well looked after in beautiful surroundings that feel more like a hotel, and although, at 94, she is quite an independent lady, there are staff available immediately should she need them. It’s such a pleasure to visit her and see her looking so well.
Creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents and their families is a top priority,...
