There have been many improvements made in the care home since November 2021, when your mother had a short stay with us. We have worked very closely with the Care Inspectorate and met all requirements and areas for improvement made from their findings and report as well as how the home communicate with relatives. We continue to learn from the feedback provided and will share this with the team to make improvements. We have also responded to the review published on the 7th of June 2022, the 15th June 2022 and the 16th June 2022 which relates to your mother's stay.

I would like to apologise that this is the experience that you have had with the care home as this is not what we would hope for as we always strive to do our best. We have worked very closely with the Care Inspectorate to quickly resolve identified areas for improvement. These have now all been met and the care inspectorate are happy with the steps put in place. We constantly strive to improve our service and outcomes for residents and where there have been lessons learned, these have been shared with the team.

I commenced my training in 2005 and studied at the university of the west of Scotland. Have worked in care homes since qualifying. Had a few years where I was working doing medical assessments for people claiming benefits. I came back into the care home sector is 2018 and I am glad I made this transition back into the care for the elderly as this is where I should be.
Peter has worked as a Chef for 44 years and has been in the care home industry since 2019. He is passionate about making mealtimes the highlight of the day for residents!
Laura joined Kingsacre in August 2023. She has a wide knowledge of the care sector and has been working as a care home administrator since 2017.
Janice joined Kingsacre in July 2023 to cover Aimee’s maternity leave. Janice has extensive experience in reception and administration in both the financial and charity sectors.
