The ability to talk to different people is very important with her dementia.

Staff are always helpful and diligent I feel my mum is well looked after and although I am sad for her that she had to relinquish living in her home which must have been so hard for her at least I know she is in the best place where she can have regular meals and people looking in on her to check she is ok plus other residents to socialise with the room is lovely and the bathroom is absolutely gorgeous I'm glad she is there

Very impressed with building + rooms. Staffs are excellent nothing too much trouble with a smile on their faces even though I feel they are very under staffed - watching how busy they are. Very fortunate to have some very sunny days so sitting outside was a bonus.

I have been in respite care for the last five weeks. From the time I arrived until this time, I have been well looked after. The staff have all been magnificent and nothing has been too much trouble such lovely girls. The laundry runs like clockwork and I have been very impressed. Overall, it's been a tremendous experience and I will be back I am sure.

Visiting a relative was very impressed. First visit blew my mind. Firstly the views then the decor. Rooms were excellent good size beds. Ensuite was amazing. Food menu varied. Staff very friendly and helpful. Grounds and overhaul well maintained. Excellent visit.

Mum has been in the home since it first opened and I cannot praise the staff enough. They are caring and treat mum with compassion and dignity. The facilities are exceptional and all mum needs are well catered for, especially her new food requirements. Mum's dementia has progressed, but everyone has been fantastic to adapt to her needs accordingly. Thank you so much for all you do.

Visited Mum yesterday & today on a visit from London. Found Mum as always happy & well looked after. Staff as always pleasent & helpful. Found Mum's room tidy + clean. All in all a pleasent experience, I look forward to always coming in to visit

It is a difficult choice when looking for a care home for a loved one and we looked at a number starting with Lake View Lodge. In the end it was an easy choice. Three months later we could not have been happier and importantly mum feels the same. The care, facilities and activities are first class. They have worked hard to create a family environment which is great.

On our recent visit to Lakeview , we found that the place has such a homely feel and a happy aura . The facilities spotless and really well equipped . The staff could not have been nicer and seem happy in their jobs . There are many activities going on that the residence are encouraged to get involved with . This is a lovely place to live.

We moved mum to this home in November after an assessment was carried out in October and mum was accepted. Mum had Alzheimer's and at no point were we told that if mum presents with challenging behaviour she will be asked to leave. If I had been told this I would never have moved here to LakeView because as we all know Alzheimer's is progressive and we don't know how it will progress and to keep moving someone with Alzheimer's merely exacerbates the disease. After 3 months of repeated phone calls about mums behaviour and the constant worry to find another home for mum and the home calling the behaviour 'challenging', I moved mum out. She is now in a home that will never throw her out as they understand Dementia/Alzheimers and said mum's behaviour is not challenging it is the disease and sadly how it progresses. Please don't think that this home will be your loved ones forever home because apparently they are a 'low level' Dementia home, something they don't make known unless you ask.

We've just been celebrating mum's 90th birthday at Lake View Lodge. The staff, cake and setting were amazing. My mum has only been there few months. The place is like a five star hotel but most of all my mum is happy there. Thank you to all that work there.

I cannot praise highly enough the very high standard of every aspect of this establishment. Clearly, the staff are selected with enormous care and demonstrate outstanding courtesy and respect, combined with professionalism and great kindness. Nothing is too much trouble! My sister is in full possession of her mental faculties and appreciates the very high standards she sees throughout the day (and night). She says she is very happy and content here.

Should my dad need a permanent home or more respite, we shall return!

The upbeat attitude shown by the staff clearly impacts the residents who appear to respond in a positive way.

My Mother has been in this home for 4 months. The facilities are excellent. The staff very caring. The food is superb. A good range of activities arranged for residents. What more could one ask for. Can't recommend it more highly.

My dear wife has been at Lakeview Lodge for the last 6 weeks and the care for her has been outstanding. From the moment she arrived the management and staff have treated the family with kindness, respect and dignity. My wife has received such genuine compassion and I could not have wanted more for her. Everyone of the staff have gone above and beyond for her comfort, dignity and happiness. Thank you all so very much.

Welcoming helpful friendly staff, clean and smelt nice in every part of the building I went in, resident I visited is so happy and comfortable she said she was worried she would miss her home but loves it here and feels very safe and wants for nothing.
